Casual Look with Boyfriend Jeans and Blush Pink Snakeskin Slip Ons

Hello Ladies (and Gents)

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. It was a pretty relaxed one, running errands, cleaning the house and putting up decor/pictures as my mom will be visiting my sister and I in a few weeks. I don’t think I am the only one runs to Target, and Lowes for “supplies” when company comes to visit. In the Spring, I like to plant a few flowers in the yard, but I am no gardener!

Today I was in the mood to share with you a more “casual” look with a light wash jean, boyfriend style, my pink and tan snakeskin skip on shoes, and this navy pinstripe peplum top I scored for $15 on Poshmark. Gone are the days one wears “sweatpants” for a casual look, or dressing down. Let me put it this way, if “sweat” is in the description of the garment, I am NOT going to wear it! 🙂 I will wear yoga pants and nice sneakers but I am more apt to wear jeans if I am dressing down or want a more casual look. I dress, as I am sure most of you do, according to mood many times, and this was a day I just wanted to relax and be casual. I am already thinking of ways to wear my hair up when the weather gets too warm. Love the chignon, but for this look, a long ponytail, curled would do the trick.

I liked the white collar detail on the top, and would wear this shirt with a pencil skirt as well as with jeans if I wanted to “jazz it up.” These boyfriend jeans from the Loft, I purchased a few years ago, and they are very soft . ( A requirement of mine when I wear jeans due to leg sensitivity). I have received compliments on my blush pink and tan snakeskin slip ons, and they are quite fun to wear. I bought them at H&M last year and they do see the light of day quite a bit in the spring. Along these lines, I also took one of my favorite clutches out for the day, this blush pink GIGINEWYORK clutch, that has enough room for some essentials. I added this new earring and necklace set, as I liked this stone grey color against the blush pink and navy.

Hope to see you all tomorrow for #Turningheadstuesday fashion linkup.

I so understand about the run-ins at Target for ‘necessary’ things you know lol. Hope you have a great time with your guests. Love love that peplum top and your new set of jewelry is gorgeous. Looks like Kendra Scott, where is it by? I also love and wear slip-on sneakers like those, all the time. =) Great early Spring, casual but put-together look.

Your top is beautiful, dressed up or down, you’ll always look gorgeous my dear!! I have two pinstriped skirts (one grey, one black) and I had a pinstriped dress when I was younger with a little white collar that looked similar to your top.

See you tomorrow for Turning heads Tuesday!

Thanks Sam. I was in the mood for light bf , saggy jeans . I dont wear jeans often as you know, but wanted a change. Glad you like the look, maybe my long hair makes things look feminine ??? Thanks for stopping by .

It’s nice to see the variety of dressy vs casual! Although since life has gotten way more casual—I tend to rebel by dressing up more like you usually show off!! Those shoes look wonderful!! And I like how even though you’re casual…it looks like you put thought and care into your outfit!! jodie

Thanks Jodie, I have alot of jeans, but I typically do dress up in skirts and dresses. It was just one of those days. Glad you like the ensemble. xo

I am a totally casual kinda girl. I’m almost always wearing jeans and I just love them. I have tonnes of pairs in my wardrobe! I love how they can so easily be dressed up or down.
I think you look totally fab in them too – although it is weird seeing you dressed down!! Love this look though 🙂

Suzy, before I started blogging and had EDS< I was involved with a designer denim group, so I have quite a few pairs, we sold slightly used or new jeans, believe it or not. Glad you like the look, thanks for commenting.
