13 Dec Clara Sun Woo- A Mother – Daughter Business and How I Styled the Pieces
Today I am sharing two pieces I was gifted by the Mother- Daughter company, Clara Sun Woo.
Clara Sun Woo- A Mother – Daughter Business
Who Is Clara Sun Woo? The business was started by a mother, Clara Sun Woo, and her daughter Roseann in 1997, where they started their own clothing line in the Manhattan District.
Their signature soft knit fabric is well known, and I love that it is wrinkle free and a great travel outfit as well.
The Clara Sun Woo combines the expertise of two generations. I was thrilled to spread the word about an all -woman business, and a mother-daughter duo.
From their website:
“We believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice fashion for comfort, so we’ve created fabrics that are breathable, light-weight, and extremely soft to the touch. Many of the women we dress are world class travelers, so our fabrics are wrinkle-free, washable, and pack friendly.”
Their desire was to create clothes that fit women comfortably, drape well, and the signature knit fabric creates a flattering fit.
They are well known for their liquid leather pieces, and I have my eye on a few jackets. The liquid leather is a beautiful knit fabric created by Clara Sun Woo that is stretchable, breathable, and looks fabulous!
My Outfit
These liquid leather front pocket gaucho pants caught my eye, in the well- known “liquid leather”. I love the wider leg, and since I can’t wear tighter pants right now, due to my condition, these seemed like the perfect style.
The liquid leather material looks like leather but is not leather, pleather or anything of the kind. It is a soft knit that doesn’t wrinkle, is washable, and looks made for me.
They have a 2.5 inch pull on waistaband, and two front pockets and have a wide -leg and cropped silhouette. I am wearing the pants in an XS (size 4-6) and they are very comfortable.
The funnel neck sweater is a light knit, just perfect fo our N.C> climate. It will be one basic I wear with alot of different things. It has a high low hem as well.
I’ve styled the black funnel neck sweater and liquid leather gaucho pants with the Holiday in mind. a bit of red on the lip, earrings, and my sparkle Zara red slingbacks.
The black croc clutch adds texture to the look as well.
