01 Dec Karina Dress: Grey Plaid

Hi Ladies,

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. ( or weekend in general). I got to enjoy some turkey, and some of the traditional Thanksgiving fare with a bottle of Red Guitar, an inexpensive Tempranillo, which is one of my favorites. Today, I am wearing one of my favorite hats, as I love the cloths, the 20s style hat. I have about 3 of them so far, but here in Charlotte, there is a limited time to wear them.

I wanted to wear my grey plaid Karina dress, the Audrey style, as I think this may be the one or two plaid items I have in my closet. I love grey and especially the dark grey with the dark red accenting color in the plaid print. Karina is pairing with Modcloth, as we style our dresses on the Style Gallery. I think there are many ways to style this dress, another I thought to put together was taking an embellished white shirt and wearing it underneath the dress. This time, I took this vintage inspired cashmere rose grey cardigan, my hubby bought for me a few years ago, and wore it over the dress. The pattern mixing seemed to work well, as the colors are almost a perfect match to the dress. I added my Etsy vintage red jeweled pearl necklace, my black bow kitten heels, my favorite quilted bag, and then viola! the burgundy hat! I hope you like this ensemble.

I love these #Karinadresses  as they are very comfortable, and who can beat not having to iron them? I love prints and there is always much to choose from.

We were supposed to put the Christmas tree up this weekend, but you know how that goes,  what we think we can do, doesn’t always turn out. Hoping to get to some of these tasks this week.
