Hello Ladies!

You all know we have that silly streak in us? I promise you, no children were hurt in the taking of these photos!! I should also put out there was no one there, as I didn’t want to take up a poor little girl or boy’s time on the playground!!!  Perhaps it is just me, but do you ever have an urge to just get on the swing set and just swing away! The handmade wooden swing my sister in law used to have at her house was the first thing I gravitated toward! Yes, I realize, I am not ACTING my age! Isn’t that the point?? We all need to let loose once in awhile and just do something that is out of our zone, or that just might look silly, right?

( Anyone that is not a trained singer and has gotten up for “karaoke night” knows a bit of what I am talking about)

My outfit had to be cool as it was very hot this day.The real feel was around 100!!  I told my husband that the slide was burning, so he was going to have to take some quick shots! Lavendar and orchid are a favorite color of mine, although many stores are now showing, “sun colors” such as orange and yellow. This outfit has several shades of purple, with the top being a deeper grape, the lace shorts, my Loft orchid cardi, and super comfortable new sandals by Clarks. The clutch was a new purchase, as I have many larger bags, and wanted at times to carry only a few things.

The sweltering heat is approaching us, even more in Charlotte, as temps reach a high of mid to upper 90s, and the REAL feel is 104 tomorrow.  Ouch. This is when we are in the orange zone and not many people are supposed to let alone, want to be outside. I am NOT a fan of this weather, as your choices are air conditioning and sitting inside, wear some places make it feel like the ARTIC, as they put the air on full blast ( movies), or be in the swimming pool. So.. I may have to take my “arm floaties ” down there and try them out!!! ( just kidding :-)) )
