26 Apr Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Hello Ladies, and Happy Friday!
Are you thinking about what to get mom for Mother’s Day? I have been looking up some ideas and thought I would share them with you. My mom will soon be visiting us at the end of June, as my sister and I both live in the Charlotte area.
My Mom loves to read. My Dad loved to read. They would go through books like I go through bubble bath and Epsom salts.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Mother’s Day Gift Card from Amazon
Mom’s got a Kindle and she also loves physical books. An Amazon gift card would be great, as she could choose what she wants to read.
Mom will be headed to the beach this summer. Get her a cute pair of slides These are only $75 on Soft Surroundings, and I’ll be featuring them soon.
If not slides, these Tory Burch sandals would look great on vacation, or during the summer.
My mom and I both love tea. Why not give mom a lovely tea set she can enjoy and have as a memory.
Charlotte Tilberry Makeup-Mom and I have heard great things about this makeup. Give her a neutral eyeshadow palette for year round.
Taking care of yourself and skin certainly continues for my mom. I have tried and really loved this moisturizer and other products from City Beauty. This multi-action sculpting cream on sale! USE CODE JESS10 FOR A DISCOUNT! I wrote about City Beauty HERE..
You know I love Jambu shoes! My mom is also a big fan and she has a tough time with shoes. She loves wearing Jambus because of the memory foam footbed and the comfort they provided. You can use CODE EDS20 for 20% off on jambu.com
I love to give Mom, pictures that my hubby takes in frames. We both love very personal gifts, and always love getting a framed photo of family.
My Mom loves musicals like I do, and if your mom loves to sing “The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Music”, around the house, then get tickets to a musical and surprise her! My mom saw Hamilton not too long ago and loved it!
Really, the best gift you can give your mom is Time. Make plans to visit or to go on a trip with your mom and enjoy each other’s company. I realize this more and more as I get older, appreciating family and spending time with mom means a lot more. A girl’s weekend somewhere to a spa or a getaway to a nearby city makes for a great memory with Mom. If that isn’t possible, make mom dinner with a lovely bottle of wine for you both to enjoy.
Here, mom and I were at the Charlotte Symphony outdoor, just a few years ago. Always a good time!
I always feel like writing and card giving is somewhat of a lost art. I love to write something personal in a card and make sure I have a special one picked out. ( I do love Papyrus designs).
If you are wondering what to wear on Mother’s Day, have a look at this mixed patterned dress/scarf combo I styled this week. –Mixing Patterns with a Scarf
What do you like to give your Mom on Mother’s Day?
Have a great weekend

Posted at 22:27h, 27 AprilI totally agree that time is the best thing to give your mother on Mother’s Day. But in addition to that I really love your suggestions. Tickets to a musical sound perfect and I really love that tea set !

Posted at 10:57h, 28 AprilThank you Elle! I drink coffee in the morning, but mom and I are tea drinkes the rest of the day. I would love to go to a Tea Room in England someday! My mom loves shows as much as I do too. Yes, time is always a wonderful gift. Happy Sunday friend! xx

Posted at 13:55h, 26 AprilI wish my Mom “liked things”. I struggle so bad to find something for her. She has everything. Will not wear makup or get manicures. She doesn’t have a hobby other than being a seamstress. She makes it clear that she does not want anything for the kitchen or for sewing. She has never used any gifts we (4 kids) we ever given her even if its something we hear her say she wants. It’s so frustrating. She doesn’t even like to go outside.
But I’d take any of the things you suggested. I make it easy on my daughter.

Posted at 14:07h, 26 AprilHI Lisa,
As i mentioned, sometimes time is the best thing we can offer. Perhaps make a lunch and just keep her company. I know when someone seems to have “everything” it can make getting gifts difficult. How about flowers or something that can brighten the house? Just ideas. Glad you like the list. I got my mom a day at the spa last year, and she enjoyed just a bit of pampering. Have a nice weekend! Its finally sunny and warm out! xx

Posted at 14:09h, 26 AprilThat sounds wonderful Mirelle, where is your mom located? I am a Brand Ambassador for Jambu, but even if I were not, I would buy the shoes. THe memory foam is wonderful for your feet, especially, like my mom who has problem feet. Have a great weekend! xx

Posted at 07:33h, 26 AprilI honestly don’t know what I’m gonna do for my mom yet, I think I might just bake something or do a dessert like I did for father’s day. But thanks for the suggestions, I think time is definitely the best gift, I was born really late, my mom was 40 so I feel like time and care are the best gifts as we don’t know how long we have left together.

Posted at 09:47h, 26 AprilHi Marta, that was the same with my hubby, his parents are older, and he was born when his mom was 40 too. I think baking something or doing something special is a wonderful idea. I think homemade gifts are wonderful too- a meal, a dessert. Yes, time and just caring for the parent, is the most precious gift.xx

Posted at 07:22h, 26 AprilGreat list Jess! My mom loves my Jambu shoes! I’d love a little Charlotte Tillbury make up myself. I can see the resemblance in you and your mom – she is such a pretty lady with an equally stunning daughter! Totally agree, the very best gift is TIME – means the most for sure!
Have a wonderful weekend sweet friend!
