Turning Heads #linkup-Rose Quartz and Lace Green Skirt-Influenced By Pink Roses

Hello Ladies!

Since my 2 year  Blog Anniversary was in February, and I share it with you on the blog last week, I wanted to include flowers then, but things got in the way. For this post, let’s just say it was a delayed celebration, and more in accordance with Spring. We could call this a Celebration of the One Year Anniversary of the #TURNINGHEADSTUESDAY #LINKUP!! Where has time gone? Thank you all for making this linkup successful! 🙂

One of my favorite combinations of colors are pinks and greens. When I think of the blush tones that have become very popular and Rose Quartz being one of Pantone’s colors of Spring 2016, I envision it with many green tones, like a pale pink rose and its dark green stem. I have a fondness for florals as you know, and roses ,pale pink and cream were part of my wedding flower colors. We had pale pink roses made from white chocolate wrapped as small gifts for the attendees.

I thought I would pair my rose quartz blazer, that was a steal from Forever 21, with one of my favorite Zara skirts in pine green. Thinking toward spring, I suppose the rose was my inspiration. The weather is getting there, we even had 75+ degree days last week.

This week it is supposed to be warmer and the sun shining is just what I need! I used to tell my mom that I wasn’t a fan of grey skies and gloomy weather. She thought perhaps I needed a S.A.D. lamp. I told her that I didn’t think putting my head under a lamp 10 minutes a day would suffice! hehe. I know Vitamin D3… etc.. but the sun shining just puts me in a different mood. Today I was bought these beautiful delicate pink roses. And like I do with any moment ,I thought, ” This would be great inspiration for a blog post” I am joking, sarcasm is one of my favorite devices!  I have always loved flowers, roses especially and the pink and greens would not only be inspiring for a post, but hopefully create some hocus pocus when it comes to bringing forth Spring time! Spring and Fall have always been my favorite seasons, so my look today should reflect my love of spring time and spring colors.

Green looks fantastic on you because of your hair. Rose quartz looks great on you because of your skin tone and the 2 together really bring out your great features! Congrats on your 2 year celebration. I’m coming up to my 9th year in blogging believe it or not!!!

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style and for featuring my post! Regarding your question: 5ft9 is what I reach with a 4.5 inch heel! That’s were the number comes from. If you love heels go for them! I bet the world is even better at 6 ft 1!

The shoes I had on my Block Heel post, as they are a 1.5 inch block heel, but I can see it can be hard to tell sometime. Thank you for the lovely comments
