 IMG_9822Hello Ladies, I hope you all had a great weekend, as the Holidays draw nearCan I tell you about my "fun times" as of late!  LAST Thursday morning, it seems in the wee hours, there was a Crawler scouring my site. . lets just say it did it enough to cause the CPU usage to skyrocket and have my site down.. I right away think "hacker!" what do you want with a fashion blog? Arent their more interesting things to do with your time.. well fast forward about an hour and hubby solves the mystery Yes , he is my awesome  computer nerd!  Brilliant! So my computer, in fact, did not get hurled out the window or anywhere else I might decide, as patience is not my virtue. So.... I  wll move on!

 IMG_9767Hello Ladies... its almost the weekend! Is this week going fast?Let's just say hubby was being "artsy-fartsy" here with the sun behind my head. I suppose one has to experiment from time to time. I just love all of the leaf colors and it was a good day to take pics. I do find that some days I just have a tough time focusing on a task at hand, as I won't get into it too much, but it has been the second time in  2 months since I have gone out for "fun". EDS can do that to me sometimes. Anyhow, two of the best things that came out of EDS was Gibson and Truffles my pups.  Tell you more about them in the post, but I was in a faux leather skirt mood kind of a day. I have a few in my closet, and this one from Ann Taylor in a chocolate brown really lent itself to styling with some teal tones and soft velvet textures.

 IMG_9614Hello Ladies!First, let's talk hair. I think we all love our hair to suit our coloring, personality, style . Last week, for Turning heads Tuesday, it was a more red- darker copper. When my stylist, who is awesome, did my hair, as to eliminate my greys, more copper was added to my red hair. I am used to my golden -red or gold copper look, and thought it was too dark for me.

IMG_5803Hello LadiesHow is everyone holding up? Are you one  to not let the holiday "madness" get a hold of you? I went into Charming Charlie today and felt the need to leave immediately! No, it wasn't that I came across a necklace with more colors than the rainbow, but rather, so many people, clusters of teenagers and ladies who looked hungry to find that "perfect " thing for the aunt, sister, themselves, mother etc.I think this is why I try and shop early, online and get it done in a reasonable time. Granted, not everyone lets the crowds bother them, but I find that I can't stand that long to begin with, and second, I don't like the hurried feeling I get this time of year. So, instead we took the dogs to "Barkdale" in their santa suits and they had a fun time, in a little heated room while we ate pizza and had some delicious Malbec. IMG_5826Hello LafiesI was happy to be contacted by a The Mint Julep Boutique recently, as they have lovely styles that both fit my taste, as well as satisfy our interest in some of the hottest trends this season.With fur vests, plaid in dresses and shirts, stylish boots and booties, and some faux leather skirts and jackets, many items are on trend and very flattering to the figure. This lace dress, the Juliet was definately ME, so I chose it, You can find it here. You all know I love lace, and I wanted a LBD, so this was the right choice.

 IMG_5212Hello LadiesThese are a few of my favorite things. I am wearing faux-leather, but a leather look, nonetheless. The chill is in the air now in Charlotte, but we are still getting temps in the mid 70s, rather nice. So this lightweight skirt was perfect for the day. The 3 elements in fashion, are looks I always loved. Lace, so ladylike, leather ( sleek with some edge), and leopard, classic and in the fashion world a popular neutral.
