IMG_6799IMG_6795Hello LadiesWelcome to another #Turningheadstuesday!   I hope everyone had a nice weekendI know it is March and we are getting antsy for Spring. I , however, just found this vintage  tweed jacket and didn't want to wait until next year to share it. So, I promise a spring look for next week. Today I am sharing a few tips on wearing Vintage without looking like you went back in a time machine. I do tell my husband from time to time that I would love to travel back to a different era. Not stay there forever, but just experience the time, clothes, people.music . If you are watching the Stephen King book turned tv show 11/22/16 the character has traveled back in time to try and prevent a historical event from happening, having to know the era, the clothes, cars, and events pertaining to that day.

Hello LadiesHappy St Patrick's Day! I hope I am lucky in presenting you my first link up. I am calling it Turning Heads Tuesday, and have the button available for you to put on your link up page  to link back or as a widget.Do you know I am Irish? My ancestry that is.  What gave it away? The red locks, green eyes, fair skin? Well, there are some misconceptions to being Irish I must dispell once and for all!
  • I actually do not like beer. As you all know, I am a wine drinker, martini drinker, just not beer.I never acquired a taste for it, and Coors Light in college doesn't count.
  • There is much  more to Irish cooking than boiled potatoes. One of my favorites growing up was Soda bread.
  • There is not pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I have seen numerous rainbows in my time, and believe me, if there were I would be a very well to do woman!
  • Four leaf clovers have nothing to do with luck! So if you find one, and get lucky, it is merely a coincidence.
I wanted to wear my green to celebrate the day, and my leopard print jacquard skirt which reminded me of 4 leaf clovers ! :-)IMG_6699

leopard swing coatHello LadiesI know this skirt is familiar. A gold straight pencil skirt I wore last week. I wanted to do a remix with other textures and prints. In my closet, I have this perfectly matched monochromatic chunky sweater I wanted to wear to create this look. You are going to have to excuse the hair. It is rainy, humid, and for me, damp hair is about as bad as "bed head". So I just cropped my head out for this set, next time, a hair bun should do the trick!

I think everyone can wear leopard it just had to be a nice quality of leopard. THis skirt is jaquard and I bought it last year from one of my Fav stores, Ann Taylor.

IMG_3654Hello Ladies! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week. Someone told me the other day I had a great smile. I told her that I have been conditioned, as my dad had a darkroom growing up, so that is what we learned to do. So, regardless of how I feel, I am compelled to smile in almost all of my photographs.

IMG_3544 Hello Ladies! Happy MondayHope you had a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed going out, as the weather is cooling down here. The title refers to an exceptional jazz tune, titled "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise.' Kind of what I think about when I wear yellow. The brightness of the yellow paired with my orange earrings make me think of that sunrise or sunset if you so please.

IMG_3267 Hello Ladies!Hope ya’ll had a lovely weekend. Today is mine and my husband’s 13th Anniversary! Hard to believe. When someone asks how long we have been married,  we usually jokingly respond ” 13 years, but it feels like 30! ” This is only partially a joke. We dated for 3 years, so it has been 16 years, and he is my best friend too, so it feels like we have known each other longer. We actually met, in ECP, the Explorers Club of Pittsburgh, when I lived there for 32 years. I was dying to take their Rock Climbing Class, to learn to climb rock faces, and he also joined the class.
