23 Feb Turning Heads #linkup-2nd Year Blog Anniversary+ Vineyard Visit

Hello Ladies,

This weekend we had some nice weather approaching 70 so we decided to go to a pup friendly vineyard, called Morgan Ridge,  I also wanted to celebrate with a shoot for the end of my 2nd year Blogging. ( FEB)mow going on 3.  Funny, it reminds  me of what I say about my marriage. We make jokes and say, ” This summer will be 15 years… feels like 30!”ha!!  Instead of where has time gone? Or “feels like only yesterday!” I suppose because we really feel we know each other at this point. But it will be a celebration. So, for the blog to now be 2 years old, I want to say “Feels like 5!” Perhaps I feel this way because I have met so many lovely ladies, learned so much, so many tips, and collaborated with some great companies. I also feel that the amount of time it takes to think of topics, write, respond with comments, read other blogs, and pick outfits takes quite a bit of time. It is not all about just point and shoot!

So, with that being said, I am in a bit of a struggle with motivation because of our family loss, but also feel I need to keep busy. I want to also work on playing my music more. I am making myself go out and enjoy things even when I may not feel like it. Usually the word, “Vineyard” will have me dressed and in the car in a hurry, and being that it is a nice day, I will go. Having the pups with us certainly helps too. If there is one addiction I have, it isn’t wine, but my puppies. particularly Gibson. My boy made it very evident even when we  in Pittsburgh with family, how much he needs me and follows me around like a shadow. I went out the other day, and my hubby went to a clients. As I walked out the door, my hubby told me, Gibson sat on the rug crying looking at the door. He did this for quite some time. Then, he went upstairs and looked in the bedroom where I do much of my computer work, stood crying looking at the door wondering,”where’s mommy?” Finally he decided to sit on corner of the bed, looking at the door. He has some anxiety when I am not there with him. I told my husband if only he would sit on the hallway rug looking at the door and crying, I would certainly know I much I am needed! 🙂 hehe.

Having a good day at the Vineyard and just making memories is so important to me. What I have learned about blogging in these 2 years is that I have found some truly wonderful women whose personality matches their style of dress, and their confidence shines. I have found support in this atmosphere and will always gleam info and tips on fashion as there are things one will always learn. I think one can always learn new things. I have learned more about photography, and have had a means to express myself creatively. I hope to be ale to continue sharing my love for fashion and style for a while.

So, I know you may have been looking for Vineyard shots, but I decided to take the “day off” so to speak without photos posing, as I just wanted to eat some delicious food, enjoy great wine and have fun with the puppies. Besides, you don’t want to see me with my purple lips after drinking some red chambourcin wine, do you? So, in our own way we celebrated the lovely day and going into my 3rd yr of blogging. Trust me!
