24 May Turning Heads #Linkup- Adding a Statement Jacket, Fringe Shoes to All White Look

Hello Ladies and Gents

Glad you are here for #turnngheadstuesday. I seem to be obsessing over white lately. You all know I Love Color but can also be captured by white with a neutral palette.*Absolutely! I love a nice clean white look, bright and modern, that look where the white stays white and there is no sign of dripped coffee on your clothes, or it has faded to a “winter white.” So, I must take advantage of my new white items before I  eat, drink, or lay in the grass for that next summer concert. 🙂 

Anyhow, I see plenty of bloggers wearing whites and I favor this look right into summer. This top I bought on Poshmark, with tag still on , was a mere $10! With the ruffles  a Spring 16 trend, , I wanted to put together today’s look. The ruffles are what take a plain white button down to the next level, and you know I love texture and detail of this nature. The white ankle skinny jeans are from Ann Taylor, and the sandals ( yes, I own them in black) a fun, fringed find from Payless last year. This look would be lovely on its own, with statement jewelry and my LV Speedy adding additional visual interest, but I love the look of an all white outfit with a statement leather jacket. Here I am wearing my brown leather jacket I bought many moons ago. It has a bit of ruggedness in it’s style that plays against the feminine ruffles.I have more leather/faux leather jackets in my wardrobe due to the weather here in Charlotte, and also because they can easily transform a look.

You may see a similar look with a pastel leather jacket in the future.
