Thrilled to bring you another edition of Turning Heads Tuesday. I wanted to “thank you” for the participation and making this link up happen. We had over 106 link ups last week, so fun!
Today I am wearing a Zara pleated front grassy print skirt with yes, a forest green “Bardot-style” crop top. Over 40, and wearing a crop top can be done, I just choose to wear them with a higher waisted skirt! So Zara strikes again! For the last several weeks I have worn some more neutral shades and today I wanted to wear some more color, and also show you can wear a cropped top over 40!! Remember the 80s when ripped jean shorts and cropped tops were big when one would expose their abs .. they were popular around the same time the off the shoulder tops with the movie: ” Flashdance”. Come on now, everyone wore them!
My forest green “bardot style”cropped top works with this Zara high waisted skirt for that reason. I saw this skirt on the site on although I am more inclined to wear skirts around my hips, this appealed to me with its style and grassy floral pattern.
So, before I was involved in music, I was taking many English classes for journalism. I wanted to share this poem with you, as I am wearing my Grassy Skirt.
The moment one gives close attention to anything,
even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome,
indescribably magnificent world in itself.

To quote from her blog,” Springtime is here in southcentral Alaska and it is wonderful to be able to ditch the heavy layers.” Check out Laura’s recent post on creating a lovely updo bun for those warm spring days.
