Hello Ladies!
Welcome back to #turningheadstuesday! First off, I’m BA-ACK! Back to reality, as we came home from our month long working vacation in Asheville. Had an amazing time! Fabulous fresh food, tempting tapas, pup-friendly vineyards and views with hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway’s trails. Today I am reviewing Marmi Shoes. When I was asked to review Marmi shoes, there was a nice selection to choose from. As soon as I saw the red flats with bows, with a snakeskin texture, I was sold. Can I say I am in love? With a pair of shoes, that is!
I don’t own a pair of red flats and I think every lady should have a pair of red shoes. My mom reminded me that the Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie when I was a kid. So maybe subconsciously, I am just telling myself, I need those red shoes. As much as I enjoy going out, and I do, I am also a homebody, so red shoes, love my home… hmmm “there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home.”
I always love the classic combo of red, white and black, so I styled these fabulous shoes with a black eyelet skirt from Ann Taylor, the leather piping around the waist was a nice added touch. The printed white and black top from White House Black Market is a favorite with the cowl neck, a favorite neckline .A bold statement necklace was added giving a bit of “punch” to the look, along with the GIGI NEW YORK red leather clutch and the red bow Marmi shoes.
Marmi shoes has been in business since 1986 and “has rapidly grown into a recognizable leader in fashionable, European influenced footwear and accessories.”
The quality of the shoe itself is excellent. Beautiful rich leather,in this saturated red color, along with bows ( I am a fan of bows on my shoes) makes for a great shoe. Even more however, is the comfort. Since I have EDS, I can not stand for long periods of time, so I must have a good looking shoe that is also comfortable. This shoe has a cushioned insole making it very comfortable, and fit perfectly. I also liked the more pointed toe.The brand is Vaneli, and Marmi states, Vaneli offers an amazing range of styles from dressy to casual each season that capture the must have trends. Vaneli styles are made of quality leathers and unique fabrications. Many styles are offered in a wide range of sizes and widths to ensure the perfect fit.”
I know, I know, the irony of this being a shoe review and my shoes got lost in the grass, so I included up close pics in several photos to get a close up look at these stunning richly red bow-utiful shoes!

September 1, 2015 at 1:55 pmMade me smile that the shoes got lost in the grass! Love balance of the feminine with the bow and the fierce with the mock croc pattern! I can just hear you clicking your heels, Dorothy style. And I have a smiliar skirt in navy. Eyelet skirts are so versatile. You can dress ’em up or down.
