Yes, Another garment from Zara. This intricate lace in orange really caught my eye with the higher collar. 

You all know I am a “bag girl” and this LV Speedy Damier fit everything in it!

This vintage pair of cameo earrings were purchased at a thrift store in Charleston

I would have never thought I would be wearing orange. I think when I was younger the only time I wore orange was Oct 31st, on Halloween. The color has appealed to me, just a bright color that seems to work with my ginger hair. The higher collar appealed to me, as well as this intricate and well made lace in this shift dress. The shoes will be worn often with many of my outfits this summer, as who can resist flowers as if they are growing like a vine up your feet!

My family from Pittsburgh is here, so it is time to entertain! You all know, the time that one gets out the vacuum cleaner more often than one might otherwise! They visit in the summer, and the chorus and echo of “Boy, is it hot”! continues throughout the week! They came in to see my niece peform as a ballet dancer, as particularly sweet as it is as she is almost 5. It was a fun day enjoying older children dancing,  dances anywhere from more ballet inspired, pop moves, and also some more modern dancing in the repetoire.

This was my look for the recital and out for a bit of a bite afterward. Now, the time we have all been waiting for !…. #TurningHeadsTuesday #linkup! Alice, of Happiness at Midlife is my wonderful Co-Host today!! I was so pleased!! I love Alice’s style and I often find we have very similar taste as she and I by from Ann Taylor and at times end up with the same skirts or other garments. Alice is very down to earth, has a great collection of jewelry, cardigans and lovely skirts. She also kicks butt doing deadlifts at the gym! You can see it on IG!
