Hello Ladies!
10 more days until Christmas! I am like a kid when it comes to Christmas Day, minus the usual getting up at 5 am to see what Santa brought me. No! Since Gibby and Truffles do not know any better, they do not pat me with their paws in the morning, saying “Mommy, Mommy, SantaPaws came! TIme to wake up!” I put them in their Santa Suits and we make our way downstairs. We make it a leisurely morning, brew the coffee, have the smell of pastries or bagels in the air, and take our time. We do not make it arduous and open one gift, tenderly picking at the paper as if to save it, but we don’t exactly tear in to the gifts not knowing what each other was given!! The pups do have their own stockings which resemble a puppies face and they are ready when I put the stockings on the floor to stick their whole head in to find the puppy treats. I do love giving gifts! I need to master the art of wrapping a bit more, but the bar was set high by my mother in law! I have always been excited for Christmas and giving gifts. I love decorating the tree, and over the weekend we went a bit wild, and Michaels going in for two items like gift bags and tape, only to leave with a cartful of garland, ribbon for the tree, ornaments and more.
Today I am sharing a look that is a bit different for me, yes it is lace and that is just me, but it is a blush color and has leather detail in the sleeve cuffs and collar. I wanted to do something a bit different, but still Jess I started with the Zara faux leather pants and BR grey vest and went from there. The earrings are vintage from Etsy and were a gift from my Husband several Christmases ago . By the looks of them, you think they would be as heavy as a chandelier, not just a chandelier earring, but surprisingly they are light. They, themselves make a statement. The necklace is new and its dark charcoal grey stone with tassel. One trend I have gotten caught up in. The vest is grey and the grey and pastel pink are a favorite color combination of mine.
Pink Blouse: Ann Taylor, Faux leather pants ZARA ( these are more like real leather), Vest: Banana Republic, Earrings: Esty Vintage, Necklace: Charming Charlie, Booties: Scheyelles, GiGi NY clutch
I want to wish you all the most Blessed and Merry Christmas. I hope your holiday is wonderful with family and friends. THERE WILL BE NO TURNING HEADS TUESDAY LINKUP ON DECEMBER 22ND, INSTEAD ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY! It will return Dec 29th.

December 15, 2015 at 4:50 pmThere’s still the signature style of Jess there with the lace but I love how you’ve taken a look and made it your own so that it’s true to your style and therefore feels and looks absolutely right on you.
I love this look on you – the play of the feminine with the lace and the masculine with the waistcoat (vest) and of course, as I said on instagram, what a beautiful pendant.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jess. I hope you have a relaxing time. Thanks for hosting this year.

December 15, 2015 at 11:04 amWhere do I begin? First, those earrings are so beautiful (especially paired with that pendant necklace)! You’re right that they do look heavy. LOL! I love that blouse–the shade, the lace, and, particularly, the cuff detail. Wow! I am in love with the entire outfit…all so well styled together! Another winner!
