18 Aug Leopard is a Classic!
It’s not a surprise that fashion retailers and magaines say that leopard is “trending ” for Fall But is it really? Since it comes back year after year, I
call that more of a classic. But no matter what you call it, adding some feline print to your wardrobe, can be a fun Fall refresher!
Leopard is a Classic Print
I have loved leopard for a long time. BUT it does matter, the quality of the leopard. Any kind of cheap material, in leopard, only makes for a “cheap” look. I am not talking cost here, but how it is perceived. You can have a lower cost leopard piece that looks elevated, depending on material and also what you pair with it.
Here I have this flirty, feminine, partially sheer sleeveless blouse that I bought on Poshmark for $10 from Zara. ( Here is a beautiful ruffled Zara blouse ad it is on sale) ( Also from Zara)Funny now, that the shipping and tax is as much as the garment! But I digress…
Leopard has been worn since Egyptians liked the print that represented opulence, and was worn as prints in the later years from dresses to Faux fur jackets and everything in between,
Since chocolate brown is such a trending color this year, I loved the dark brown leopard print wide leg jeans that caught my eye. They are H&M jeans that are wide leg, and a bit rigid with just a touch of stretch. I went up a size as I like things a bit baggier and roomier, since I have Gastropareses. I thought they would work well a bit baggier, if I kept the familiar outfit formula of more fitted top with looser baggier bottoms.
By now, with reading my blog, you know that leopard “is a neutral” that means that you can pair them with any color be it a bright shade, jewel tone, or neutral. Here since it was still very humid, I decided to pair this light white top with the jeans and a nod to Fall with these suede chocolate brown kitten heels. You certainly could still be wearing sandals, or perhaps would love them with a red Mary jane shoe. Here is a pair of trousers from Zara in a leopard print if you prefer pants over jeans.
Haven’t Been Regular
In regards to posting that is, lately! LOL. I know, its a bad Gastroperesis joke!
I have had some challenging bouts of it and have had tests lately I am going to be going to Accupuncture for the GI this Thursday, so I am looking forward to that and seeing if that helps my digestion etc.
I have picked up a few pieces of items for Fall through Poshmark, Nordstrom and Mango recently. Yes, it does give me a “pick me up. ” I only bought one thing during the Nordstrom sale, as I only saw one thing that I felt I “needed” and that is loosely termed at that. I am hoping to begin using SHOPMY more as I just started the Shopping platform to bring you links and such from my posts . Sometimes I find Like to KNow it a bit buggy. So more on that
Hopefully, I can be back to my 2 days a week on the blog once Fall is almost here. Summer ends up being quite busy

Posted at 19:05h, 18 AugustI have to laugh every time I see that leopard is trending. Like you said, I don’t think it ever went out! This ruffled blouse is amazing! It really sets off the print as well as your gorgeous hair.
I hope you’re soon feeling better. My husband also has a chronic gut issue that has greatly impacted our quality of life. So, my prayers are with you. I hope the acupuncture works, and I look forward to seeing what you think. That would be about the only thing we haven’t tried.
