Leather Jacket Black Review- Plaid and A Moto Jacket

Today I am sharing with you an outfit you can wear throughout the Fall and Winter, and certainly with special touches, the holidays.

I was gifted a leather jacket by Leather Jacket Black.

Leather Jacket Black Review –

It’s almost Christmas!

My husband and I have been enjoying some festivities in the area and in Charleston for the Holiday season. We had been to Charleston for a few days, and of course enjoyed our stay at Planter’s Inn. My husband surprised me with an early Christmas gift and the stay was wonderful.   Although it was not very cold there, a leather jacket is the perfect piece to bring when temperatures are not freezing.

When I was contacted by the company, I chose the Batwoman Katherine Kane Black Jacket, available at Leather Jacket Black.

About Leather Jacket Black

Leather Jacket Black is an online store that offers a wide range of leather jackets, besides other outerwear. Every single jacket they offer is crafted with style in mind.

When it comes to leather jackets, there are different designs for you to explore. They had been stocking numerous jackets, inspired by popular television series, video games, movies, and celebrities. This leather jacket did feel light and did not have the leather smell.

Construction

. I found that the jacket itself was roomy, the sleeves were long, had room and I was able to fit a chunky knit sweater under it. The jacket was soft and had a quilted lining. I would have liked the sleeves to be a little bit more fitted, as they were larger on me, but would fit a thicker layer.

The padded layer sewn between created a quilted diamond pattern and made the jacket look smart with some insulation. The jacket had an asymmetrical zipper closure at the front with a classic lapel collar for a daring look. It had ample zipper pockets, two on the sleeves, two at the waist, and two at the front-top

Functionality

When I chose this jacket, I was looking for a lined leather jacket with character. The quilted design adds texture and interest to the classic black moto jacket look.

The jacket I received allowed me to keep my essentials, like a smartphone, car keys, and a lip balm, secure with its zipper pockets.  The jacket is not heavy, so it will be good for layering, if cold.

Aesthetic

When I unpacked the black jacket. I held it in my hand, and I found that the jacket was not too heavy, but of a good weight for NC I like the edgy look of the jacket but did wish it had less zippers for aesthetic purposes. The jacket did not smell like leather and was a bit lighter than expected.

A black leather jacket is a great staple to have in your wardrobe and can certainly add a bit of chic-toughness, or edginess to a feminine look, which is often how I like to style it.  Add ruffles, frills, and some jeans and you have a mix of feminine/masculine pieces. Here the ruffle at the front of the skirt, and the ladylike satchel are those feminine touches.

I chose a small, by looking at the size chart, allowing room for sweaters or layers underneath. If I wasn’t wearing layers I could have gone with XS, but choose to have that ability.

Prices seem fair, but in this case, I was gifted this piece for my review. I will always share my opinion.

That is an amazing jacket! I love the quilting details. I really like the way you’ve styled it, too! I love Charleston. My oldest granddaughter was born there.

    Merry Christmas, Jess!
