03 Dec A Casual Holiday Look with Faux Fur and Vintage Earrings

Good Morning friends!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend in preparing for the Holidays. I just love faux fur, especially faux fur stoles, as they add a bit of glamour to any look!  Who doesn’t love glamour for the Holidays? I have some faux fur leopard jackets I need to style, I’ve been a fan of stoles as long as I can remember, thinking of how they make a long even more elegant.

It rained most of the weekend, and also we were busy with the Holiday decor and such, but I plan to bring you more locational shoots after the Holidays. They are fun for me, and add to the creativity needed for my blog, so .. just letting you know!

Funny Story to Tell

Did you know I am a celebrity? Haha! Yes, I am known on my street. 
I had a lady, named Jessica, ( it was meant to be!) drive down the street as I was walking my pups, getting ready for my hubby to take these photos.

She told me, as the car was running, how much she loved my style and my outfits. It really made my day! She mentioned that she sees me out taking pictures with my hubby.

We talked a bit and I gave her my blog address and IG. It did make my day!

On a similar note, I had a kid from the local Starbucks ( who must live on my street) tell me that it was cool I took outfit pictures and he saw me posing outside with my hubby.

Like I said, neighborhood celebrity… haha!
It just made me smile.

My Outfit

If you love faux fur, but don’t want total full on glamorization 🙂 then, this outfit is one you could put together easily.

The cardigan ( I bought on Poshmark- from Anthropologie) caught my eye, as I loved the light color and camel stole. It is attachable, so I can wear each seperately.

I am wearing my Rockstar Old Navy jeans in a dark wash, wanting this to be a casual glam look. If I was meeting friends for the Holidays, going out for a drink with hubby, I would wear this.

The red velvet booties were a purchase late last year from Zara. I could see this look with my gold/tan snakeskin boots as well, but I loved the addition of a pop of Christmas color with this neutral look.

The zara circle bag also has tan, red and green in the floral print and the round shape adds to the vintage-like charm

My other favorite part of this outfit, are the earrings. These shimmery, gold dangling earrings have a gorgeous shape and are vintage from ETSY. I received them years ago at Christmas and I seem to take them out each year for the Holidays.

Ive styled this sweater before, with a gold threaded lace skirt from Ann Taylor, and may wear it this way with some strappy shoes over the Holidays at my moms. 

Faux Fur

Now repeat after me…. Faux fur is fabulous and fun…. faux fur is fabulous and fun.

Tell me how you feel when you wear it. It does always make me feel more special, and elegant.

There are plenty of stoles you can add to a classic coat as well, to add extra warmth and pizazz.
