A Favorite Combination- Wearing Red with Leopard

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Red and leopard is one of my favorite combinations and I am telling you one way to style it on the blog today.

My Outfit

I have experienced such gratitude this weekend. Family time is so special and we made the trip to Pittsburgh. My mom still lives at my childhood haunt, and I will be visiting for a few weeks. Let me tell you, even though I grew up here, after living in NC for 18 years, I am not used to the frigid cold! brrr. Mom was thrilled to have us there, and we played several games of Phase 10- ( She loves her card games) There was no shortage of food and each one of the siblings had a job to do. It ran like a well oiled machine!

Hubby and I took blog photos before we left, as my hubby is visiting with his parents.

I am wearing a long Zara maxi dress with a Mango red cardigan I received for Christmas last year.  I always love the look of long boots under a maxi or midi, and Ive styled my black leather Jambu boots with his outfit. I’m carrying my red croco structured bag here by Teddy Blake.

I have given you some options for this combination in “Shop this Post” as my outfit is all older.

Try pairing a vibrant color over a leopard dress. Red is striking, but any shade would make a statement, as leopard is a neutral.

This dress from Macy’s has a higher neckline and tie at the waist.

Have a great day and see you tomorrow for Turning Heads Tuesday!
