Denim shorts are a favorite summer staple of mine.

Summer is just moving a bit too quickly right? Its nearing the end of July and I just love the amount of sunny days we have here in NC.

I did write about my Summer Bucket list HERE, and forgot to include getting a pontoon boat for the day. We have the doggy life vests and I love to spend a day on the water.

Been enjoying hanging out at the cottage, socializing with people and time at the pool. I hope you all are enjoying the summer months.

My Outfit

This week I reached in my closet for these staples and this “uniform” I enjoy wearing in the Spring and Summer months.

Linen blazer+ cami+ denim shorts.  Pretty camisoles or light tees are  great staples for wearing under blazers.

I wore this Vince Linen blazer on the blog once here –

Its light and has a structured look that I love. I have been wearing quite a bit of color lately, so this week, I styled neutrals from my closet.

I have bought a few items secondhand on Poshmark lately and am waiting to buy a few Fall pieces.

I have 2 pairs of denim shorts, these are LOFT from a year or two ago. I like the 4 inch inseam. Bermuda or longer inseams are showing in stores, if you aren’t comfortable with a shorter inseam.

I am wearing one of my favorite pairs of sandals from Andre Assous.
