Better Not Younger- Hair Care for Over 40 Needs

Morning Ladies

I am excited to bring to you new haircare  brand ( to me) – Better Not Younger, a haircare brand aimed at ladies over 40. I also love their tag line-
“Beauty is not defined by age”.

Hair Care for Over 40

Do you search for hair care products that can help address your needs as you get older?  What I really liked reading about the company, is that the CEO, realized after 25 years of working for Proctor and Gamble and Loreal, that there were no hair care products out there for older women looking to improve the quality and health of their hair. This is why Better Not Younger was started.

I have enjoyed trying this brand, as it is the “first brand designed for aging hair. I know my hair has changed between age 40 to 50. My hair was thicker at 40, and even with fine hair looked fuller. I am a hair product girl, so I love this line, and do notice  change in volume when I use the Volumizing products, so even with my hair being fine, it looks thicker with the help of these products.

Safe for color-, keratin-, chemically-treated hair.

Vegan, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free.

Menopause can cause texture or noticable problems with one’s hair. Good ole hormones play a role in the hair’s structure and quality.

To have your hair change from it being thicker when you are younger  to finer with less volume is something women over 40 often deal with, and it can effect self-confidence. You are not your hair, but I do love to feel good on the outside as well as the inside, and the products make my hair feel good and look good.

I always love to consider volumizing products and I love the cleanness of this brand. and that they have different lines designed for women over 40’s hair care concerns. Another line for dry, damaged hair is called “Second Chance.” There is also a hair serum for hair growth, “Our Superpower serum is packed with nourishing and scalp-stimulating ingredients that can help strengthen your follicles and promote healthy hair growth.”

Wake Up Call” Volumizing shampoo was gifted to me in a 16oz bottle. I would use 2-3 pumps, as my hair is long. It may be fine, but I have alot of it.

The “Wake Up Call” Volumizing conditioner works well with the volumizing shampoo and I did not feel it weighed down my hair. I only used 1 pump and mostly on the ends of my hair

“No Remorse” heat protectant is a great smelling spray that you use on wet hair after shampooing and conditioning. I use either hot rollers or a curling iron, along with a blow dryer, so it is important for me to protect my hair. Thumbs up!

“Lift Me Up Hair Thickener “ was named, BEST VOLUMIZER as named by Harper’s BAZAAR’s 2020 Anti-Aging Awards.

I love the smell, the spray on application and the fact that it makes my hair appear fuller. There is no sticky residue or feeling.

The Company

From the CEO and Founder, “After 25 years working on haircare brands for Procter & Gamble and L’Oréal, I was amazed that there was still so little out there for women like me.” from the website.

Read more about the Story behind the company here.

I love that the company’s goals are to also change how we view aging, and how women can look better without having to look younger.

These products look nice. I visited the web site and like what I saw. I have very thick hair .Im over 50 and I noticed my hair doesn’t have that silky flow like it used too. I have been looking for a fresh smelling leave in conditioner. Most of the ones I find have a strong smell that I smell all day and hate it.

Yes, they are. I wish I had thick hair! Mine is shiny and fine . The products I try all smelled wonderful as I know it is a turnoff if something is too strong smelling!

I, too, need the product that makes your hair appear thicker. And I like the idea of the No Remorse heat protecting product. I blow my hair dry and then like to curl it but when I do both, it looks and feels fried. You have beautiful hair my friend.

Morning! I bet you would love this line. I also love the heat protectant as I use both a curling iron and dryer. Thank you!
