26 Apr Caite and Kyla- Delilah Linen Shirt Styled With Cargos
“My, My, My… Delilah… ” I coudn’t resist the Tom Jones song to introduce you to my new beautifully embroidered shirt ( The Delilah) by Caite and Kyla.
I know I am dating myself, but that’s ok! 🙂
My Outfit
I used to stay away from linen pieces when I was younger thinking I had to iron them to perfection only to be wrinkled minutes later. I have come to embrace the characteristic of the fabric, as it is just perfect for our Southern Springs and Summers.
This shirt is 100% linen and has roll tab, three quarter inch sleeves, or could be kept longer if desired.
I just loved the embroidery in white stitching and the quality of the shirt. It is substantial, not heavy, but made very well.
I seem to add at least one white top or blouse to my closet each Spring and Summer. It’s just such a fresh look!
It is a button down, so it can be tied at the waist if you are wearing a higher waisted bottom ( jeans, trousers) or perhaps left open with a cami. You could choose to also wear it over a sleeveless dress, and tie it at the waist, giving you coverage and acting as another layer like a jacket.
The loose and comfortable look is indicative or a relaxed and carefree Spring and Summer season.
The Delilah shirt comes in 3 colors- White, Sterling blue and Zen blue. All of them are beautiful!
Check out these other embroidered tops I am favoring by Caite and Kyla. The Jaz shirt is also linen and has stunning white embroidery on the back. This was another contender of mine! The Sonali linen blouse has embroidery detail, a boho style and has a drawstring neckline. I love the sleeves as well . It comes in a grey, sage green color, and my favorite, a lavender.

Happenings
My hubby, in addition to IT is also in real estate. My brother and sis in law are planning to move here, and we have been visiting homes for them in the area. Boy, it is a hot market here in Charlotte!
We went to our favorite Italiano restaurant in between showings and it is so good! My favorite dish is an Eggplant Rollatini, which is eggplant breaded rolled with ricotta and also has mozzerella on top. It is over spaghetti. It was one of our mainstay restaurants for carryout during Covid.
I was gifted this top by Caite and Kyla. All opinions in this post are mine and truthful.

Posted at 13:40h, 27 AprilGorgeous blouse! I especially love it in the blues. I wish I were more open-minded about linen’s characteristic wrinkles.

Posted at 05:01h, 26 AprilWhat a pretty outfit, that shirt is stunning, I love the embroidery detail! Works so well with the pants and the little scarf is like the cherry on top – perfection!
I LOVE eggplant rollatini – haven’t had it in years mind you but my mouth waters just thinking about it. I am so glad your brother and his family are moving there, it’ll be nice to have everyone close by. The market is hot here too, great time for sellers and buyers need to be ready and pay asking price or even above. Crazy!
