30 Nov Cropped Leopard Jacket with Faux Leather Pencil Skirt
Hello friends!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
I am sharing a double dose of leopard with some warm tones of browns and plums. Time to take out the faux fur jacket!
Outfit
I have a few leopard jackets as they are both different styles. One is a swing coat, this a cropped version I bought secondhand on Poshmark.
I love the vintage style, the sparkly button in amber, and the collar of this jacket. We have had some warmer weather lately and a light jacket is all that is required.
I wanted to wear my burgundy knitted sweater from last year and mix them with other warmer brown tones. The faux leather cognac pencil skirt was a buy years ago, from Zara. Leopard is always in style, and the double dose came with my Zara leopard block heeled booties.
I do need some nude textured stockings to add to some of my Fall/Winter looks.
Whats Goin On?
Thanksgiving was very nice, smoked Turkey, homemade cranberries, sweat potato -pecan dish and more warm-your -tummy goodness, shared by Mom, hubby, my sister and niece. We ate outside on the deck and enjoyed the weather, as it was just perfect for the day.
Typically, my family’s tradition has been to wait until the day after or weekend after Thanksgiving to start decorating. I love doing this every year! I am the sentimental type and marvel at how the ornaments remind me of certain memories. Hubby enjoyed decorating the yard, and we purchased some new lighted trees, and a metal airplane filled with gifts ( on a stand) to our current outdoor collection.
I am so thrilled with the floors! We went with flooring called Cali Bamboo Pro ( just the name, not bamboo) as I have been looking for wood flooring with larger panels and an espresso brown color. The floor is wonderful and it will be finished today. We hit a snafu when the contractor gave us the wrong number of sq ft and we came up short. So, we have today, all new floors, brand new toilets and less vacuuming! I’ll be sure to post on IG stories when it is all said and done. We still have the Master Bath that needs painted soon too.

Posted at 03:58h, 12 SeptemberI like your outfit and especially that you are wearing a cropped leopard jacket. It’s nice to see something different than all the leopard cardigans, leopard sweaters and leopard coats!

Posted at 21:24h, 01 DecemberVery pretty! I love that cranberry color. That’s one of my absolute favorites. I like how you’ve paired the sweater with the pencil skirt. I’m not a big skirt person, but lately they’ve really been catching my attention.

Posted at 04:39h, 30 NovemberI have a cropped leopard jacket – I love it but rarely get to wear it because it hardly gets cold enough. This looks terrific with the skirt – maybe that’s what I need!
Glad you had such a nice Thanksgiving and I can’t wait to see your floors – bet they are beautiful!!!
