13 Nov Decorating Your Home for the Holidays
Ah, “Home Sweet Home.”
“With you, I am Home. ”
“There’s No Place Like Home.”
You know it, those phrases that gave you all the warm and fuzzy feels over the years, making home, the most popular place to be!
Home
I for one, am a homebody-to-an-extent.
I love being home, making the place warm and inviting, but I also love exploring our city and going out Let’s just say a few days at home in a row, I have had my share and now I am ready for new scenery.
Covid has changed that for all of us, and home is the place we have to be, more often than not.
With the influx and rise of new cases, especially as the months get colder and we can’t be outside, my hubby, mom and I will be enjoying time in our home with the occasion of grocery shopping and brisk walks outside providing some relief.
Why not make it festive, enjoyable and fun! We need something light to brighten our days, and I love decorating every year for those Special Holidays .I’ve always loved it !
From the words of our contractor, everybody is waiting on products and home improvement supplies. Seems we all have a similar idea.
I am hoping by Christmas to get our floors done, a pretty brown wood floor that has taken quite a bit of time and research to find. I will have pictures for you once it’s done.
You don’t however, need big home improvement projects to feel that special spirit of the Holidays, when decorating. A few new Christmas pillows here, some new nick knacks on the mantel there, would do it! I’ve been enjoying scented candles and always love the smell of pumpkin for Thanksgiving, and Pine, Cranberry or Wintergreen for Christmas. Find items that make your space special.
I am doing some Gift Guides for you this season to help you see gifts for your loved ones all in one place, but in the meantime, I am sharing some of my Holiday Decor finds you may want, to bring some Holiday Spirit to your Home.
Because….We all know “Home is Where the Heart Is.”
Have a great weeked
Stay Safe,
Jess xx

Posted at 08:03h, 20 NovemberSo many beautiful finds! I was at Target a few weeks ago looking around at their holiday decorations. I haven’t been in a few years, but I was quite surprised with their selection and the prices seemed lower than I remember. A few new items unexpectedly came home with me, hehe.

Posted at 17:30h, 15 NovemberLove the festive things you’ve shared. Pinned several as reminders and filled my Target and Amazon carts, too. We are usually homebodies to a large extent but Covid has us afraid to do anything else. I worry about grocery shopping, pumping gas. Turning into a real anxiety-ridden mess.

Posted at 12:50h, 13 NovemberI never really decorated much when I was working because I felt like I didn’t have time. Now, I’m not much in the habit, but I will put up a couple of things. It’s so fun when I get started especially if we put on Christmas music and drink hot chocolate!!
