28 Jul Turning Heads Linkup- Embroidered White Tee with Light Denim Shorts and Vineyard
Hello friends!
It’s white week on the blog, where I am styling some white pieces for summer. I have had this top for a year or so, and wanted to style a basic look for summer. What’s not so basic? The embroidery and eyelet design on this cotton tee.
Outfit and Our Time at Sanders Ridge Vineyard
When its the Dog Days of Summer, you need to be cool. Linen and cotton are your best bet. I have seen alot of cute tops but viscose and polyester do not make for comfort in the summer here.
This cute tee has a white embroidery and eyelet pattern along with a curved hem which I prefer. Such an easy basic look, but the embroidery adds that extra zing to a white tee and denim look. I have 3 pairs of white denim shorts which I interchange and wear often in the summer, when I am not wearing dresses. I styled this look with my light blue wash Loft denim shorts in a size 2. I took one size down from my normal when I bought this style.
My white espadrilles are on repeat when it calls for a casual white shoe, and espadrilles are the epitome of summer. This was the kind of outfit I would wear out to our Saturday vineyard of the week.
I’m also sharing some pictures from an amazing vineyard we went to over the weekend called-Sanders Ridge Vineyards, in Yadkin Valley or Wine Country We have had such fun visiting vineyards my hubby and I know and yet discovering new ones such as this with my mom over the weekend. The peacefulness is calming and the atmosphere restful. The pups are with us and love to just be by our sides when the cracker crumbs or bits of food gets dropped from the table.
Honest to Goodness, I wonder what you all think? I promise we are are not all getting inebriated! Just enjoying the birds, the wine, the atmosphere and the company.
This Vineyard is on a large farm where they grow their own grapes. We enjoyed a bottle of Viognier, one of my favorite whites, and took home a bottle of stainless steel Chardonay. Truffles was like the farm greeter, as she loves people and would trot her way to a table or two.
We had pimento cheese ( homemade) meats and cheeses with crackers, and each ate a fresh cooked lunch as well. We enjoyed our time there and would be back!

I love the ambiance as well but with a six year old, it’s hard to show up relaxed especially if chasing a kid around is the name of the game. I love how simple your outfit is.
