Favorite Looks From November +Gift Ideas for Him

NOVcollege

Hello Ladies,

I thought I would share some of my favorite looks for November, and also some gift ideas for him. Just some ideas to get you started..

I am the type that likes to shop-online. No hustle and bustle for me, just the quiet of me and the pups lounging on the couch or a coffeeshop with a tasty gingerbread latte by my laptop.. If you are following along with my blog, you will notice I have collaborated with Jord for their wooden watches, and Obaku Denmark for their sleek dressy, timepieces. I am almost done with shopping as I am “mission oriented” when it comes to shopping for gifts. I used to buy early, but then found that I just would find things I liked as the months went on and I would spend more. This way, now it is about wrapping, finding stocking stuffers, and listening to my favorite classic tunes while decorating. “Christmas Time is Here… Happiness and Cheer” or good ole Bing.

I do think Gift Guides can certainly help, as my husband is not easy to by for. If you’re husband or boyfriend likes technology then they usually have it down to the last spec of what they want. Hard to surprise someone that way! However, if he goes with the flow and enjoys whatever you buy him, or he has hinted at a few things here and there,  then it is a bit easier to shop

First, before we get into the shopping-zone , I wanted to share some of my looks from November that I enjoyed styling. I love fall and the cooler temps as layering, wearing those leather leggings and sweater dresses are some of my favorite ways to dress. Comfortable too. I am obsessed with boots, as the right type of stylish well made boots can really make a look.

1. Zara Blanket scarf ( this, like this), Banana Republic mustard skirt, Born leather boots, LV Speedy Damier.

2. zara burgundy leggings, ( sim) Ann Taylor lace navy top,( like this one) burgundy tweed jacket ( older), Zara booties

3, Treesje designer plum handbag , Banana Republic sweater dress

4.Faux leather pleated skirt ( last yr, ann taylor, sim), brown velvet blazer

5. Ann Taylor black faux leather leggings, Ann Taylor burgundy sweater , black leather booties ( seychelles)

Now for some other gift ideas. These are men’s watches, but many fashion bloggers have worn some of the Jord watches, as unisex.

Jord watches are gorgeous wooden watches, each being different as the grain of each watch is unique. I do  love these for men, they are stylish and masculine, also great for a guy who loves the outdoors.

Lower left is the Delmar in Dark sandalwood and Blue Carbon, Lower right and quite popular: Fieldcrest in Dark Sandlewood

On to the popular Blanket Scarf! They aren’t just for women. Just warmth, and style!

I hope I was able to give you some suggestions. There will be more gift guides as we go throughout December.

Have a great weekend!

I’m all about online shopping, Jess. In fact, the only times I would forsake the screen and my mouse is when one of the children want me to go with them to buy gifts for the other. If I could eschew brick and mortar shopping completely, I most certainly would 🙂 it’s just so much more calming to purchase things on the web, without having to battle all that human traffic in the malls. That said, it does beget spending a lot more GRIN thank you for the idea of an immersion blender. The one you featured looks particularly sleek and sexy!!

p/s when it comes to dressing, your outfits are the perfect epitome of your blog name xoxo

I just thought of adding in Blue Apron! My husband loves the service! You get the food in the mail every week, 3 meals with a photo and recipie, and education on the herb, food etc.. Everything is ready except prep and cooking, and these are hard to com by ingredients you wouldnt find in the grocery store easily! Glad you liked my selection, will do another guide soon.
Hope you are well too ELle

Your Nov looks are all amazing! I love the variety and uniqueness in your different outfits and your hair is so beautiful!

You’re totally right about it being difficult to buy for picky husbands. That’s always a challenge for me, but I also love those self-cooling wine glasses!
