Gifts for Our Best Friend- Doggy Gift Guide

Perhaps your pup isn’t first on your list when it comes to gifts, but think about all of the people that adopted dogs during the start of this pandemic. They have been there for us, been our pals, our stress relievers, our entertainment and joy.  I’ve put together some gift ideas for your best furry friend this Holiday season.

Gift Ideas for Your Furry Best Friend-

We had 4 dogs at my mom’s house for Thanksgiving.  That is my kind of house! Granted two of them are ours, and if it were up to me, we would have a house full!  My brother’s dog “Jack”, a Frenchy, is built like a side of a barn, very stocky and solid. My other brother’s dog, Pedro, is very sweet but also coexists with our dogs and Jack. Alot of “side stepping.” 🙂 They are all fun to be around. We were laughing though, as I had on a black tracksuit, and I am used to my pups not shedding. As I sat next to Jack, I became enveloped in beige fur!

My love for animals began as a small child, when I had a mixed pup named Shadow. I can honestly say that the two best things that came out of my Ehlers- Danlos is Gibson and Truffles. They were always a comfort to me when I was experiencing a lot of pain and undiagnosed. As dogs tune into our emotions, they could sense when I was doing poorly, and were there laying on the bed next to me, ready to cuddle.

They continue, at age 12 and 10, to make me smile and laugh each day. I am sure you know a dog or animal like that in your life.

It’s time for “Santa-Paws”! Or at least that’s what I call him!

And yes, I do sing “Santa Paws is coming to Town” to them (in the privacy of my own home!)

Dogs are so innocent, as animals are, and their joy is often seeing your joy. So now it’s time to gift something for them.

I am sharing some of the treats, toys and beds that I have found that your pet may enjoy this Christmas.

I love this post! Easy to forget our fur babies sometimes at the holidays while we’re so busy working on things for others, but I always enjoy spoiling my cats! So funny because even on my birthday, I buy things for them.
