Gifts for the Pups!

If you have pups, you know how much they mean to us. My girl and boy are my angels and they have been with me since I first was diagnosed with EDS. They are my “comfort and joy!” So, why not treat them extra special for the Holidays!

I’ve been rather busy and dealing with my health l, so I just didn’t make it quite on time for Today. But here we are!

Special Gifts for Your Pups

With Covid, there have been more and more people that have bought or adopted dogs.  They entertain, comfort, make us smile, and are the friend we need when things get tough.

My boy is my shadow and I joked with my mom about Gibson being my first dog, “Shadow” reincarnated! He follows me everywhere, and can detect, when I am not feeling well, or emotional.

My girl Truffles, ( we affectionately call her “Princess Truffles” , is more independant, likes her space, but is also very loveable and sweet. She could sit by the fire all day, or look out the front window in her bed. She is sensitive to  our feelings, and loves to give kisses too.

So, every year I love to spoil them.

My boy Gibson, is not a furry, stuffed toy kind of boy. He loves squeaky balls. His favorite toy, he has no intention of taking out the squeaker, ( unlike Truffles!) I love getting him jackets or other cute things to wear. Would you expect anything less from a Fashion blogger?

I purchased a sweat suit for him this year and a new bowtie, and the one we bought in Savannah a few years ago is a little worse for wear.

( Ill share pictures after Christmas)

For Truffles, she has a number of these adorable stuffed little animals and their homes. Squirrels in a  squirrel tree,, birds in a birdhouse, bees in a bee hive. Rather than carrying the animal back to me to throw, she brings the big “house” grabbing it by the tag in her mouth

One of my favorites of Truffles as a puppy 🙂

My Boy Gibson! Just wait until he gets his new bow tie!

So, of course I had to make a Gift Guide for those special pups in our lives!

Enjoy!

Oh Truffles and Gibson, could they be any cuter?! Seriously, they are the most precious pups I ever did meet and I am so glad that I had the chance to meet them in real life! Little cutie pies. They are blessed to have you and Roy as their people just as you and Roy are blessed to have these special pups in your life. What a lovely post, my friend. Thanks for linking with me.

Those pups are so adorable! Gibson and Truffles are two lucky doggies! We lost our our shelter dog, Sergeant, two months ago. It was cancer and it was totally unexpected. The pain is just horrible! Our little Lulu was so sad and despondent so we searched around and just a week ago, brought Reno home. He is a rescue and a Jack Russell Terrier mix so he keeps things lively and really perked up our girl! I love all your cute doggy gift and will have to shop a sweater for Reno. Unlike Lulu, he gets very cold. Thanks for sharing your sweeties with us.

    xx Darlene

Hi Darlene, thank you! They are my angels and have been there for me during good and not so good/health hardship times. I am so sorry you lost your pup, especially when it is unexpected that hits hard I am sure. I sometimes think about how one will do without the other, so glad you got to cheer her and you up with Reno. I bet he is lively! He sounds like my Truffles, she is always cold and we bought her her own heating pad. 🙂

Excellent little pup guide! It’s easy to overlook our little furbabies at the holidays – my cats get a new cat toy, and some new treats.

Aww, love these ideas Jess. Mollie had 3 cancer tumours a few weeks ago so she can not wear her Christmas jumper this year as it will pull on her stomach 🙁

Great ideas my friend! Truffles and Gibson are so precious, I love the picture of them on your lap. Our Sophie doesn’t play with toys much, but I’m always tempted when I see cute ones!

Thank you! I love seeing pics of your little Sophie too! Truffles is 11 and she could play fetch all day with her toys! There are so many cute things for our pets. I will be doing a photoshoot with them after Christmas.

Oh, I miss my pups!! And yours are the cutest things. I always had big dogs…Siberian huskies, a lab mix, standard poodle mix. The fanciest we got as far as accessories for them was a bandana or bow after they were groomed. That pet camera would be fun. Had I had it, I might have seen my huskies tearing my couch to shreds!!

Have been wanting some of the those wool cozy cave beds for my kitties. They are sure a lot prettier than our current beds for the girls. Thanks for sharing.

I LOVE dogs! Aw, I am sorry you miss them. I know I will always have dogs as they are such fun, a comfort and just loving to be around. I would love a Golden , but hubby has allergies, so our pups don’t shed . Sounds like you had beautiful dogs! I have heard huskies can have tons of energy, oh boy! I bet your kitties would love that!

So many cute ideas! We always give Riley a few new toys and maybe a sweater each year. He loves the toys and of course hates the sweater! LOL
