03 Oct Green Tweed
Happy Friday Ladies
I can honestly say I am ready for the weekend. It still isn’t quite fall weather, but a bit cooler, so I through caution to the wind and went with a fall outfit, with one of my favorite colors, green.
You all know I love jewel tones, and green is one of my favorites. I found this skirt years ago at Loft, and the other thing I like about it is that it tweed. I love tweed and how classic it looks. There is also something new in this picture. Can you tell what it is?
oh, okay, I will tell y’all. I got a new pair of specs to add to my collection. These caught my eye ( pun intended) with the sandstone frame and marbled look. I plan on doing a post in the near future showing all of my frames and how to choose frames styles, sizes etc based upon your face shape. These are from Warby Parker, and you know you like something when you go back to stare at things time and time again.
It isn’t exactly fall here yet, still in the 80s, but I figured I could get away with this relatively light green tweed mini skirt. If it were cooler, I would have brought out my collection of funky patterned tights to wear, but alas, not yet, so this will have to do. I came across Cole Haan’s Nike Air shoes, and they are cushioned and comfortable, yet have style. I like the woven mettalic leather here. I have been excited over the past few weeks that I can actually wear a kitten heel ( a one inch heel). I hadn’t been able to do this for 6 years! So, now my shoe horizons look bright. I still really like a comfortable flat, so I have a fair amount in my closet
I really enjoy wearing neutrals, but something about jewel tones really is my true love. I love reds, purples, emeralds, sapphires.. as you have seen recently. I am going to surprise y’all next week getting out of my comfort zone a bit.( no more clues! )
Have a wonderful weekend,
