Hello friends,
Christmas is just 4 days away and I styled some dressier looks this week for those Special Days. Today, I shopped my closet and paired these pieces together for a festive look.
`
We always say “SantaPaws” is coming! Doggies will be spoiled as usual and my mom is with us this year, and for that I am grateful.
Today and tomorrow she and I will be making cookies, both Gingerbread men and sugar cookies. Do you know how hard it is to get vanilla icing for decorating? One thing that drives me nuts these days is all the things that are out of stock at the grocery store. So, Amazon to the rescue and the icing is coming!
Presents are wrapped, outfits are chosen and I have a few “stragglers” coming in this week. I ordered something for my hubby from William Sonoma on November 1st, and it will not be here until Dec 31! So, I got a card, printed out his gift and said, “its on the way”…
We will shop The Fresh Market for Christmas Eve dinner, we’ll be making crab cakes, shrimp dip, asparagus and a potato dish. I just couldnt find the perogies I was talking about in this post!
Outifit
This week I am sharing some dressy alternatives with lace skirts. I went through a “lace phase” and have always loved well made lace garments. This pine green midi skirt is one I love as it hits mid thigh and is sheer down to mid leg. This tartan green and navy blazer from Anthropologieย would make a nice match to this look, and the sparkly bling of my chiffon bow choker from Zara adds the finishing touch.
Since the jacket was thrifted, I found a similar style with the navy and green tartan from Banana Republic for you.
So find your favorite Christmas blazer, and wear it with a lace skirt. I’ve added the black croc boots and clutchfor a more textured style as well.
Outfit
Blazer- Poshmark- Anthropologie ( similar from Banana Republic)
Lace Skirt – Zara
booties- Dolce Vita-Nordstrom
leather clutch- jj wintersย ( another option under $30) another option
Bow choker necklace- Zara ( old)

December 21, 2020 at 7:12 amthat blazer is terrific on you – fits like a glove and look great with the skirt. We are going to do a little baking too but I never really ice my cookies because I stink at it Ha! We make cookies that require no icing but boy do I love a good sugar cookie! Have fun!
