Karina Dress- The Ruby in Gold Vines

Hello Ladies,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We have had some cooler days, so we did a bit of walking on the green way with the pups. One thing I love about the development in which we live, there is a wooded 1 mile circular path behind our house. First thing in the morning, I through my hair back in a ponytail and walk out the door. Prior to EDS, I used to run around the trail 4 times for 4 miles, but since then i enjoy a brisk walk. I also ordered my first Pumpkin Spice Latte 🙂

I’m excited to share with you today, one of my favorite companies, if you don’t know by now, Karina Dresses. Choosing from the selection, I picked this black faux wrap, The Ruby, with it’s gold and copper vine design with hints of sage green and periwinkle.  Frankly, I have a ton of color in my closet, but few LBDs.

I loved the design and of course style, and thought it would be a great dress to add color to, or have the option of keeping it neutral. I can certainly add a colorful cardigan, jacket or scarf as the weather gets colder. I love the 3/4 sleeves, no wrinkling, and the faux wrap style! When it arrived, I knew how I was going to style it, as i wanted to add some vintage touches.

What I love about Karina Dresses is that you can always find a flattering style to fit any woman’s shape. I have tried many of the cuts, but at present my favorites are the Katharine, the Ruby, and the Megan ( a 1940s style dress).

Here are the other colors/patterns available in the Ruby

I think fit is the number one thing to consider when buying a garment, because if it doesn’t fit properly, I know it is going to go in the back of my closet, or end up at Goodwill at some point. I just wouldnt wear it. With the Karina, I am wearing an XS and am consistantly so in their dresses.

How will I style the dress?

Hubby bought me these beautiful vintage gold earrings on Etsy one Christmas, and I purchased this faux fur stole on Poshmark. ( love faux fur). I thought I could add color with my purse or shoes, so I took out my rich burgundy leather bag from Rebecca Minkoff. Karina dresses have a vintage inspired vibe, another quality i love in their dresses. If you are one to like a more modern take, add a leather moto jacket and a pair of scrunchy tall boots this time of year.

If you are not familiar with Karina Dresses, they are Made in the USA, wrinkle free and have a style for every “body’.

This dress was gifted to me by Karina Dresses. All opinions, as always are truthful and my own.

Absolutely lovely, Jess. I like that the dress has a print on it, but it still wears as a stylish black dress. I also love how you added the faux fur collar, berry colored bag and those cute shoes. Great look! – Amy
