23 Feb Karina Dresses – The Ruby in Sapphire Blue
Yes, I am wearing blue, lots of it! Teal, navy, periwinkle and varied blue tones make up this pretty pattern by Karina Dresses. I do own some teal, aqua and navy tops as well as a couple of dresses in blue, don’t ask me why I don’t gravitate to it as much as other colors. The pattern is very eye catching and looks even better in person. Karina Dresses is one of my favorite companies and continue to enjoy collaborating with them on their easy to wear, wrinkle free styles!
This is the time of year, many people may be looking to get away, the winter months dragging a bit, and a change of scenery is always nice. When you think of the color blue, what feelings does it evoke, emotions? I often think of the sea and the sky, which bring me peace. My mom can attest to my love of water, enjoying the ocean on trips and family vacations. When thinking of Spring, some of my favorite flowers are blue- bluebells and hydrangeas.
Speaking of travel-Enter Karina dresses. I have taken many in my suitcase, as you can roll them up and they won’t wrinkle! I styled this dress with one of my favorite mesh metal blue and silver cuffs, and a bright blue toned vintage brooch. Brooches go hand in hand with the vintage inspired styles from Karina.
This is one of the new patterns on Karina Dresses site. This dress is the Ruby, which you have seen on me in these posts, however, this dress is sleeveless. If you don’t want sleeveless, another option is to wear a blouse or tee underneath, or a cardi or jean jacket over top of the dress. Easy! They are also Made in the USA. I thought this textured rose chiffon cardigan would be the perfect piece to layer on top of the dress, even though it was 74 when we took this pic!
I’m wearing some baubles from BaubleBar for Target. I needed a pick me up and bought a couple pairs of earrings from this line that day. My irredescent blue shoes get a fair amount of wear, as the shine and caged style caught my eye when I bought them on ASOS a few years ago. Add a white bucket bag via Zara, and I’m on the way out the door!
Do check out Karina Dresses Moody Blue Collection.
This is a collection with various blue dresses, periwinkle blue, vibrant cobalt and blue prints, you will love them! If you are looking for a dress with sleeves, this print I am wearing comes in the Nora, which has pockets! It also comes in the Megan, with 3/4 sleeves and the Katharine with a higher collar, tie waist and cap sleeves, all are lovely!
If you love the faux wrap style of the Ruby, do check out the 3/4 sleeve Paisley Pink Dress post
Do you have much blue in your closet? Which style of Karina Dress would you choose for yourself?
This dress was gifted to my by Karina dresses. All opinions are truthful and my own.
Let the warmer weather begin!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Posted at 13:44h, 26 FebruaryI love the KARINA DRESSES and I’d love to collaborate with them one day since I am such a dress wearer. You and Dawn Lucy always style these dresses beautifully! Love the print on this, the style and that it is sleeveless. It is funny that you are wearing so much blue because I did the same on my post today. I have been gravitated to blue florals a lot, lately. Come check out the post. 😉
Thank you for joining my Thursday Moda linkup on Thursdays. Also, starting this upcoming Sunday on March 4th I will be running a monthly style linkup which will go on the first Sunday of each month. Come join it and share your awesome style. Thanks, Ada. =)

Love the dress and your shoes!
The dress is a perfect transition dress because of the darker blues but navy is really trending right now!
I’m spending my Saturday sitting on my terrace playing catch up on my social media accounts while enjoying the warm weather in Atlanta !
Happy warmer weather!

Sounds like a nice afternoon! I enjoy sitting on our deck when the weather is nice to do blog work… etc, just enjoying being outside. Glad it has warmed up some. i don’t own a lot of blue in my closet, so I chose this deign for all of the blue.. I’ll either wear this with my denim jacket or a white jacket for the Spring too. Enjoy the weekend! xx

Posted at 13:48h, 23 FebruaryWell, I’m so happy you aren’t in the neighbor’s yard, lol! Jess, forgive my sense of humor I can’t stop myself sometimes. Anyhow, you are a vision of loveliness in this dress, the blue shades suit your coloring! I have one Karina dress I won when Patti used to do the weekly drawings. I was so excited! It is so pretty but I don’t wear it that much and I really should. In my mind I think of it as a special occasion dress, crazy!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Posted at 11:15h, 23 FebruaryNancy! You would look great in a Karina dress. I love many of their styles, the Ruby is among my favorite as a faux wrap. If you like pockets, the Nora is great. Go for a floral or unique print! xx
