Hello Friends

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Is it HOT where you live? We had a very nice June as the temps were mild, sunny and not so humid. Now that it is July, our temps are going to be sweltering. I did take pictures of my kind of “white suit” and could picture this in a casual work setting or if you work in air conditioning. I am also wearing a dressy floral “shell” that could be worn without the jacket in hot temps.

By now I am sure WE ALL are familiar with wearing white throughout the year. There are no rules. Not wearing white past Labor Day is very passe.  Wear whatever color or non-color you please!

I am planning on wearing more white outfits on the blog as summer goes on, as something about the clean all-white look appeals to me year after year. Perhaps I am dreaming of visiting Mykonos, Greece with its white architecture figuring prominately. ( It’s on the travel list!)

If you can wear denim to work, white jeans are a great alternative. Try not to spill that cup of Starbucks on your pants though.. 🙂 If a blazer is just to hot for your setting a white cardi would work quite well here. I have this print in a skirt by Ann Taylor, and I love the combination of bright pink with lime green. I am wearing my Betsey Johnson pearl block heels  and Balenciaga bag is soft pink. Bright pinks, yellow, greens are colors on the Spring/Summer runways this year and I find them quite refreshing for summer months.

    This outfit is great, Jess, I love every bit of it: the top and the matched necklace have all my favourite colours. I love wearing white jeans too but not with the white blazer. Your outfit proved that I should get one soon

      Anna, thank you! It is hot right now for the blazer, but I put it together giving people with a work casual environment or who have a different climate an option. I love all white too!     Such a pretty outfit Jess. I do like wearing white as well. Although cream looks better on me. But what the hay! Lol! Like you I like to add a pop of color in my top and/or accessories. You look really sweetie. Looking forward to joining the link up tomorrow!! Have a great Fourth of July!

      Thanks very much Deb! You could certainly wear cream with white.. as they are of the same neutral family! I received the necklace with earrings from Uno Alla Volta, a company I have worked with about 4 times. They have all unique Artisan pieces, one of a kind! xx

      Thank you Jodie! I just bought an all white dress I am going to wear on vacation. I love it! I thought, people are still wearing denim jackets either in the evening or in a casual environment. The white blazer can take the place of this. xx
