Lemon Print Halter and Denim Skirt

Lemon top

Hello friends!
I hope you are doing well.

I know there are many days I feel like I live in “The Twilight Zone” or in an alternate Universe? Don’t you?

Well, in this realm I am sharing with you 2 outfits this week with a lemon print, a fun and bright print for Summer.

Outfit

I have this “thing” for lemon prints. In the summer,  I love outfits showing fruity prints, particurly lemons. There are watermelons, peaches and oranges too and rhey are so fresh and fun for the hot months. Tomorrow, I will share another lemon print outfit. Are you a fan of fruity prints? I loved this halter top with the frilly straps and print, along with the smocking in the back. H&M has this print in shorts, pants and a skirt as well. I am wearing a small in this top as I didn’t want it to be too short.

I have a lemon print tablecloth out on our table on the deck, and my sis in law and brother just bought us a new bright yellow umbrella to go with it. I just chose a new mat for our deck as well, shaped as half a watermelon.

My favorite blue jean skirt, with its vintage like buttons down the front, and an a-line shape, gets much wear throughout the year. It is one of those pieces that will be a staple in your wardrobe.

These Zara strappy white sandals also are worn quite often dressing up a summery look. I of course, could not pass up these small lemon studded gold and sparkly earrings.

We went to our local vineyard, as our Saturday excursion, and they had some great live music to listen to. We enjoyed this trio consisting of 2 guitar players and a drummer. The air was a bit cooler with a summertime breeze making it more comfortable.

Since you don’t often see the back of my outfits, here is the top. The elastic ribbed back is comfortable.

I couldn’t resist the lemon earrings at Ann Taylor. Love the gold with just a bit of sparkle!

Love this cute, casual outfit, Jess. The lemons are perfect for warm weather and definitely make me think of going to the fair, which we can’t do this summer, thank you Covid!! I love denim skirts too and this medium wash one you are wearing is so cute and so versatile. Have a lovely weekend, friend! – AMy

Gorgeous top! I’m a big fan of fruity prints too. I have a lemon print blouse but it has a dark base colour – I prefer the print of your top…maybe I’ll treat myself to something from H&M before Summer ends. Thanks for linking up!

    Jess,

I love your lemon patterned top and all the lemon patterned outfits available.
I remember a couple years ago, I was looking for something to wear to our local “Lemon Ball” .
Now, there are so many beautiful outfits in lemon yellow and lemon prints.

You look so summery! Lemon and fruit prints either are not on my radar, or the places I shop don’t have them. Hmm, maybe some more fabric hunting is in order-hahaha! Those earrings are so adorable, great find!

Very cute halter top Jess! Love the lemon print and that denim skirt. I cannot wear a denim skirt to save my life – they don’t fit me well but I so admire them on others! You look terrific as always my friend!

super cute top! love the shirring in the back…combo with the denim skirt on point! lucky you at the vineyard! i am one and half hours away from Napa, and it’s seems mostly like a ghost town…where do you live where there’s a vineyard?!

Eva, “a vineyard “, you made me laugh. We have over 100 vineyards in the NC region. We visited Napa and Sonoma a few years ago, and had a blast! Those vineyards were gorgeous! OH how nice, but I am surprised it is so slow, but maybe the tourism is what has slowed it down. We only go to vineyards that aren’t havent events and where you can social distance
