31 Dec New Years Eve and a Stylish Winter Look
Good Morning ladies!
Happy New Years Eve! I hope you had the most wonderful of Holidays and enjoyed Christmas with your family. I am sharing a winter outfit with some fancy brocade booties and faux leather as the last outfit post on 2018…
Christmas at Moms
We had the best time with my two brothers ,sister, sis in laws, and one year old baby Aedan enjoying time at Moms. We did so much and the first two days ( Christmas Eve and Christmas) were nothing but a whirlwind. Aedan is walking and exploring. A time when platic lids and pots/pans are fascinating stuff.
We ate so many delicious foods- smoked salmon, crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp, and a lovely Christmas dinner. We woke up early Christmas day as my niece and nephew tore into their gifts with excitement. My mom went and brought down more gifts for us all to open, and it took hours to go through everything. It was a gift to just spend time with everyone in the same place.
My sis in law and I have started a new tradition of making Holiday cocktails. Last year we made Prosecco Cranberry drinks, this year was the White Christmas Margarita. We will try a new one each year. It is so fun and oh so delish!
We took a trip downtown ( dahntahn if you are from the ‘Burg) and saw the International Santas at PPG place. Amazing! Each Santa is life sized and tells the story of Santa in each country.
It was also great to take a 5 day break from technology- not a peek on my computer, and it felt good! The drive is 9 hours, and it usually takes me around a week to feel back to normal. The day after the drive feeling like a semi ran over me. But I perservere…
New Years Eve
What do you do to celebrate New Years Eve? We keep it low key and have some delicious appetizers, bubbly or a fancy shmanzy bottle of vino to celebrate. We watch the ball drop on TV and then at 12:02, I fall asleep! What a party animal, I am !
Outfit
It’s winter time, so time to bring out the cozy sweaters and faux leather pants. I am tempted to check out the very popular, Spanx leggings, but I have several pair from Ann Taylor and Zara. I paired this thick , burgundy sweater tunic with the leggings, and added some print with these newer Marc Fisher brocade booties.
Outfit
Faux leggings- An Taylor ( old) ( like these and these)
Marc Fisher jacquard booties ( exact HERE)
Tunic sweater – Ann Taylor ( old)
Tressje handbag
Zara earrings

Happy New Year’s friend!
I am in bed by 11 so I don’t see the ball drop or Mariah Carey lip sync and forget the words!
I look forward to getting back up on the blogging schedule after taking the week off!
Love those earrings and at first i thought those were snakeskin booties until I saw the side view!
Enjoy your evening sweetie!
Hugs,
Robin
