Olive Linen Pants with Floral Blouse

Hi friends

How was your weekend? Was it different from other days? I am sharing a look with linen pants and a floral olive top today on the blog. Changing it up from the joggers we are wearing.

Outfit and Weekend

Since I am wearing some florals this week, I thought why not show you a bit of my rose bushes. In one week we had a explosion of blooms on these rose bushes. There was nothing, and then a full rose bush with pink flowers. I planted red azalea bushes on the other side of our deck. I do want to add a statue of a frog playing guitar to this garden near the stepping stones.

We did have a nice weekend. My sister and I talk often, and she was bringing up some groceries from her workplace, Costco. We now have toilet paper and paper towels along with a giant bag of chocolate chips for baking, amongst other items. We are now set for cookie and scone making! We social distanced in our back yard with chairs on one end of the yard and the other and enjoyed some wine. My fashionista niece, Makaila came up and I was thrilled to see her. My sis and I are huggers, so that was strange, but we gave “air hugs”. It was nice to just to talk.

I bought these pieces last year from Loft. The pants are from Lou and Grey, which makes an ultra soft line of clothes for Loft. I loved the mix of dark olive and peaches/pinks in the top that would go perfectly with my Balenciaga peachy City Bag.  The pants are a nice change of pace from joggers, and very comfortable. I dressed up the look with my Chinese Laundry sandals, which have gotten a lot of wear already. You could change it up with some fashion sneakers for a more casual look.

Do you have some linen pants for your Spring and Summer wardrobe?

Outfit

Loft floral blouse ( last year this blue-green floral is adorable!) and in linen!

Lou and Grey linen trousers – LOFT last yr ( similar pair) love these wide leg pair too

These linen pants are a great buy from H&M and they come in a multitude of color.

Chinese Laundry sandals- white and nude available on sale

Balenciaga City Bag

Mango earrings- similar pair

Stay Safe and take care,

Jess xx

What a gorgeous look in olive and floral, Jess! My flower bed just started blooming this weekend which was nice to see. But now it is rainy and cold again here. I love that you were able to visit with your sister! We have been having lots of back yard chats with our neighbors lately and it is great food for the soul!

Thank yo Shelbee! I love olive, one of my favorite neutrals. Yes, my sis is coming again on this Friday and we will sit apart. I do thnk it is supposed to rain, so we will just have to move chairs in the Great room. It has been very warm here , in the 80s but is going to cool down tomorrow.

Hi Jess: I love rose bushes and was just talking to my husband about trying to figure out what kind I can grow down in the tropic zone. I had a whole rose garden when I lived further North. Great pants too. Linen is always nice for the hot and humid climate. Sending you a virtual hug…I’m a hugger too:)

      Hi Mel!
My roses are so nice to see! I love the KNockout roses as the maintenance is easy! The difference between regular and knockout, the KO arent fragrant. They are just lovely to look at. We have azaleas on the other side of our deck that smell lovely. My mom lives in Pgh, and has a huge garden, so she was glad to see I started. Yes, different climate! Glad you like the outfit. I have linen pieces I enjoy wearing as it gets hotter, the wrinkles don’t bother me anymore! Hugs to you as well! xx

Lovely outfit! The floral print top is so pretty. My mum gave me some white linen trousers last year but I’m sure if I wore them around the house they’d be dirty in less than ten minutes! Thanks for linking up!

I’ve always loved a classic and clean look linen pants give you. Perfect for spring weather especially with your floral top, question does your sister have beautiful red hair like you do? This olive color compliments your hair color so nicely. Have a wonderful day.

I could see you in them for sure! I went linen crazy a few years ago as I do enjoy wearing pieces in the summer when it is so hot. Glad you like the outfit. I bet it was nice to see your daughters. Yes, we had a good time just sitting in the yard chatting.

Such a beautiful outfit Jess! I love the floral print and those pants looks so comfy and chic. How lucky that your sister works at Costco! I went the other day and no TP to be found, we didn’t need any yet but I would have gotten it if they had it. Oh well. We had a good weekend, I still love weekends because I can take a break form work!
