15 Aug THT -Palm Leaves & Timeless Glamour: The Allure of the Palme Dress
Another gorgeous piece from Franne Golde on the blog today
The Palme print dress
The Palme dress takes its name from the French word “palme,” which translates to “palm” in English. The name is appropriate as the dress often has delicate palm leaf motifs in its design, invoking a sense of tropical allure and sophistication. The origins of the Palme dress can be traced back to the mid-20th century, a time when fashion was marked by an appreciation for femininity, elegance and attention to detail.
This was one of the other dresses I chose from the Franne Golde collection. I wore it out to lunch, we went initially for a facial, then to a lunch. I always feel so “glowy” afterward, and my skin feels so hydrated. I have to keep up with doing those maybe every other month or so.
Loving the cool, cotton material and have always loved the about the palm print of years ago and love it!
The length is longer and I am wearing an SMALL in this dress.

Posted at 19:47h, 19 AugustI feel like I don’t often see tropical prints in black and white, but it’s so refreshing!

Posted at 11:37h, 19 AugustGood afternoon Jess,
You have styled it’s so pretty ans I like that it’s black and white. Palm print always reminds me of the tropical life, but since it’s black and white, I can see this worn in the city. I might add a blazer since you asked for something different but I love your Jean jacket that’s always a win.

Posted at 10:46h, 16 AugustThis dress looks very comfortable and stylish at the same time. I love pieces like that dress when it is easy to style and enjoyable to wear! I love the way you styled it for now. I would also try to style it with a slightly oversized sweater on top of the dress or put a slim T-shirt under it so you can wear this dress on cooler days.

Posted at 13:07h, 15 AugustLove this beautiful palm print dress on you, Jess! It is such a flattering shape with the scoop neckline, tie waist and A-line shape. The bold black and white print looks like it will transition nicely into fall, worn layered. Hope you enjoy your week and thanks for hosting the link up party!

Posted at 12:13h, 15 AugustThis print is perfect to transition into fall (or spring). I love the neutral print and the cut. What a great piece! I can see it with sneakers too and even with a white/cream sweater over it in the fall.
