05 Sep Pantone Fall Color Palette Fall – Winter 2022-23

As we get close to Fall, I want to introduce the Patntone Colors for Fall- Winter. ( New York City based)

What do we need now? Comfort, calmness.

I am seeking this on a daily basis and have been utilizing breathing techniques in the morning and evening to achieve such a thing.

Along with comfort, we need expression and the joy of living life fully. Often, this is from a color point of view, done with bright shades and vibrant colors.

Pantone Colors for Fall/Winter 2022-23 ( New York)

When I look at this palette, I see shades that were popular this 2022, be it Spring , Summer or Fall/Winter. The combination of bright pink ( Rose Violet) and a lush green such as “Amazon” was quite a popular mix I am still loving.

Think of these colors in other materials for Fall and Winter, such as wool, tweed, cashmere.  I could certainly vibe with a pair of pants ( when I can wear pants) in a pink wool or crepe worn with a leafy green ( Amazon) as a soft cashmere sweater.

Caramel Cafe, is another for us Autumns, that is rich, and a brown hue that has been shown throughout this year.  Midnight looks a bit close to teal, moreso than a navy. Try mixing these combinations, as they are somehwhat unexpected by so lovely! I would put Caramel Cafe with Midnight in an outfit.

You certainly could create a monochromatic look with Caramel Cafe, as it will be readily available in shops, if it isn’t already, and add the touch of Midnight with a beautiful scarf or bag. Think accessories when mixing these shades as well.

Orange Tiger, the bright orange of the group, continues to energize outfits for Fall. I love the look of orange with browns. Just think of how you would express yourself with this orange shade. There are beautiful blouses with orange, sometimes with a leopard or tiger print.

These are core colors in which you may want to use as base with the colors above. Loden Forest is a beautiful sag-y green that was popular in the Speing as well. Polar Night and Chiseled Stone certainly work well together- and would make a great base for ladies that exhibit a cool tone and perhaps grey or silver hair.

You could certainly print these color palettes out and try experimenting with a base color and combinations of the 2022 Fall palette.

A Side Note

I am presently set up for pelvic floor physical therapy (yes, its internal and external) from Sept 12 until the end of November. I will be going 2 xs a week, and in addition, I am taking Gabapentin, and other medications for this nerve condition. It is due to a hypertonic pelvic floor which can impede on the nerves in the pelvis. It is believed that since I had it in 2009, for a year, and it came back now, it was in “remission” for all of that time, only to return when symptoms aggravated the nerve.

I am just doing what I can at the moment., and sometimes this is a diversion.
