Picadilly Dolman Sleeve Sweater – Monochromatic Look

Good Morning!

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Today I am bringing you a Canadian company, Picadilly, as I have styled a monochromatic look for the day. This dolman sleeved camel sweater is the featured  Piece of the Day!

I bought a big jug of apple cider and some mulling spices and I am ready! I love hot apple cider! I also purchased some Target candles for $10 a piece! One I keep in my bath – the Pumpkin Spice and the other, a Cinnamon/Clove candle is on the kitchen table.

We spent part of the weekend seeing my niece, whom you met on the blog, play a tennis match.  Before the match, we went to eat at the Ballantyne Country Club’s restaurant, The Gallery and had a scrumptious brunch. I am thrilled that the temps have been chillier lately, sleeping in chilled sheets and cool air is so wonderful. I love getting cozy!

My Outfit and Picadilly

Getting dressed in the morning afternoon depends on my mood. Do I want color in my look, or am I looking for a more classic neutral style? I chose this dolman camel-colored sweater from Picadilly. and loved the classic style and sleeves. The dolman sleeve is a chic style with a wider styled sleeve, dropped shoulder and textured knit. The straight hemline and stretchy knit make it a comfortable and stylish fit. The sweater is lovely and well made, just perfect for the chill in the air as it dips a bit in temperature here in NC.

I wanted to style a neutral look with the camel sweater and tan/camel jeans c/o Loyalty for me. Adding patterns with a leopard scarf and leopard booties would also draw the eye in and break up the solid color. My LV Speedy would also add a pattern, and the brooch is often a signature piece for me. I reiterate the leopard print with square resin earrings.

I will mention tomorrow as well, that Picadilly is an Internationally known Canadian company.  They have been creating women’s fashion for over 40 years and design for modern women. They are a company that believes style is ageless and timeless..  I will be sharing another piece from their Fall line tomorrow. In addition to this fine-knit beauty, I also loved these plaid pants that are part of this contemporary collection.  I am wearing this camel dolman sweater in an XS and used the size chart to ensure the right fit. Sizes range from XS to XXL.

If you want a more trendy pair of pants, Picadilly has these snakeskin neutral pair that look fabulous with the sweater.

      hI Lisa!
Thank you! I love wearing boots! I have a little collection and enjoy getting them out about now. I have some vintage brooches I like wearing, especially on blazers – but they can adorn alot of things.

Beautiful outfit Jess! You just introduced me to Picadelly. I wasn’t familiar with them. I’m seeing monochromatic looks all over lately. Looking forward to our weather cooling off enough to wear a nice cozy sweater like this.

Very nice look. I like the mix of prints. Not good with fashion or style so this is helpful for me. I even have my hair that color as well. Overall great Fall look. Great post.

      Good morning!
Thanks very much! Since it is a monochromatic look, I like to add prints to visually look more appealing. Ah, great another red-head!

Beautiful outfit Jess! Love your signature brooch on the sweater, you accessorize so well. You are ready for fall and I am so jealous of your cooler weather. I love sleeping when it’s chilly, it’s nice to get cozy and the lower temps just make it so much better to slumber peacefully!

Such a beautiful fall look Jess! Love the sweater and there’s your signature brooch! You have quite the collection and I love how you accessorize with them. Cheers for cooler temps for you. I love sleeping in cold weather, nothing better in my opinion. I just wish we’d get some!

Jess, I love this monochromatic look! That sweater looks incredibly soft and cozy. My kind of sweater in a North Country winter!

Thank you Shelbee! I do love wearing sweaters and am asking for a couple for Christmas. This is the perfect weight in this climate.
