PLaid Blazer with Black Jeans and Mesh Booties

Hi Friends,

The leaves are finally changing a bit here, and I have been enjoying pulling out my favorite booties.

Outfit

I call this look, “business on top”, party on the bottom! LOL. These booties were gifted last year from Soft Surroundings and are from Cecilia New York. I love the mesh style as I can wear them with fishnet socks or fancy stockings and create a different look than without. I am wearing my Old Navy black jeans, Rockstar style, and they are some of my favorites. My black jeans seemed a bit lonely since last year, so I wanted to style them

Blazers continue to be popular this Fall, and I love a plaid pattern. This fitted blazer is from H&M, and adds another layer to create a stylish look. I am also wearing a H&M camel sweater to give it a warmer look. My JJWinters clutch has been a lovely addition bringing a leather textured style to this look.

Try out this combination this Fall, with fancy booties, a fitted jacket and jeans. A winning combo!

Weekend

Fall leaves are changing and we took the opportunity to go to Blowing Rock, NC over the weekend. An hour and a half drive, my sister and niece followed us to see the changing leaves and walk around the little town.

We all wore masks and popped in and out of stores, ate at a delicious restaurant, ( smoked trout po boy was so good!) and ended the day with chocolate or ice cream at the local Kilwins. We drove on the Blue Ridge parkway and saw the Fall wonderland of colors-yellow, red, and green. It was a nice reprieve from staying at home.

We planned on going to the “At Home” to look at Christmas decor, but decided weekdays were best. I’m now doing some shopping on-line for Gifts and like to get a head start.

Are you a blazer kind of gal? Do you like your boots to take center stage ?

Fabulous outfit, Jess! I love the cropped blazer with skinny jeans. And I die over these boots every time you show them! I am glad to see that you are up and out around town again enjoying fall and dining out and such! I have to admit that I am a bit jealous of those who are going out to eat and things like that. I still have way too much anxiety and haven’t set foot in a restaurant since February. Maybe by summer, I will be able to! But for now, the snow is coming in full force (tonight actually) and we will be in weather lockdown now until May! Ha. Thanks for linking with me.

You rock that outfit! I never thought of wearing a blazer with jeans. I love trout! I never had it smoked, but it sounds so good.

I love your look! The booties, the blazer, the hair! Gorgeous.

And I really love that you talk about Ehlers-Danlos. Getting the word out on rare diseases is awesome. You’re a great ambassador.

Love this look – yes, I am a blazer kind of girl! Those booties are terrific too. We went to Blowing Rock while vacationing in Tennessee several years ago. I remember shopping there and it was such a sweet little town. I bet it is beautiful this time of year!
