30 Jun Red, White, and Fashionable: 4th of July Outfit Ideas to Rock the Patriotic Spirit
Since we are nearing the 4th of July, I thought I would reminisce and give you some fashion inspiration you can use to create your own look for the Holiday.
Are you looking forward to the 4th of July holiday? Hard to believe it is almost July! How might you be celebrating? First, we are headed to Birkdale, a local community, for a kids 4th of July parade. We are then going to my brother and Sister in Law’s house to celebrate not only the 4th, but 4 birthdays. (Mine is the 8th, my mom’s is the 31st, my 4-year-old niece, and we are adding in my niece, whose is August 3rd, and will be 13!) There will be music, floating in the “lazy river” otherwise known as the pool 🙂 and a cookout. I hope the weather cooperates!
Let’s take a look at some of the fashion I wore or could wear on the 4th, and hope this gives you some fashion inspiration. I’ve given you some shopping options, but you could also look into your closet for similar pieces.
My husband will be wearing this and showing his patriotism loud and proud!
Nah! Just joking! Just a little lightheartedness to start off the weekend. Let’s just say he’s a bit more conservative! 🙂
Red, White and Fashionable: 4th of July Outfit Ideas
This is one of my IG Reels where I styled a linen blue dress.
1st look is a blue linen dress with navy espadrilles and a white woven bag.
You have seen me wear this blue and white maxi dress from Clara Sunwoo a few times. I am going to wear this and may add a red bag or just wear blue and white. USE MY CODE FOR 10% OFF EDS1O
Keeping it Americana with denim shorts and a white eyelet tee. Add a straw or rattan bag and some espadrilles. Casual cool, I like to call it!
Here are some options. SHORTS / ESPADRILLES/BAG/TEE
This dress is ages old, but the red, white and blue was just right for the Holiday. I added white strappy sandals, and a white jacket. You could certainly make this a more casual look with white sneakers and a denim jacket.
OPTIONS: DRESS//SHOES//BAG//JACKET
This is an all-cotton dress from the core collection of XCVY. Adding red earrings and a navy bag gave it those Patriotic vibes.
OPTIONS: DRESS// SNEAKERS//NAVY BAG
If you viewed my reel, this was the outfit. I am wearing an older Zara blue linen shirtdress with a seprate belt. I added a woven bag and my favorite Bruno Magli navy espadrilles. Maybe you have similiar pieces in your closet?
OPTIONS- DRESS//BRUNO MAGLI SHOES ( sale!) // BELT//WHITE WOVEN BAG
Another older dress by Karina Dresses, this had a red, white and blue paisley pattern. I added some white vintage heels and my leather tressje clutch. Again, you could make a similar outfit more casual with a wicker/rattan bag, or white purse and cute fashion sneakers or slides. SEE THE ORIGINAL POST HERE
Navy and white. You can always add a pop of red with accessories. Or keep it blue and white. You don’t have to be a walking flag to look patriotic on the 4th. This is a 2 piece outfit that will keep me cool during the summer heat. Clara Sun Woo’s pieces are as cool as linen and cotton. USE MY CODE FOR 10% OFF.
I hope you can take some of these ideas and find inspiration for our Nation’s Holiday. I’d also love to hear how you will dress for the 4th of July. Let me know in the comments.
Have a great weekend!
