15 May Review-Coastal Prescription Sunglasses+Gingham Blue Dress

Happy Monday! I hope all of you Moms had a wonderful Mother’s Day! I called my mom, as she is in Pittsburgh. It has been pretty rainy here, but I was excited to put on my new sunglasses, nevertheless.  I would have loved more sun out to show you my sunglasses but I think there will be many more opportunities! This week is supposed to be in the 80s and sunny already. Coastal Sunglasses got in touch with me about collaborating and I was quite excited to do so as they have a great selection of glasses and sunglasses.

I was wanting a larger pair of prescription sunglasses this year as I have a few pair of cat eye that I love, but aren’t your Jackie O sized sunglasses. I was given the ability to look for either sunglasses or glasses, add a prescription and a sunglass coating.  Coastal has so many cool frames to choose from. I was limited to various brands, but these werewere the more popular brands such as  exclusive brands (Derek Cardigan, Kam Dhillon, Joseph Marc, Perspective, Michelle Lane, LOVE, Zooventure, and Ltede)  I loved these cat eye frames in steel and it came down to these Kham Dhillon white tortoise.  After much mulling, I went with the white tortoise. Something about the bold shape and different color really appealed to me.

The frame and larger shape was just what I was looking for! Who doesn’t love Old Hollywood? Now if I could just transport myself to the Riveria!

I know that one thing is true for me buying glasses. It can be rather addicting! There used to be a time when I didn’t want the shape of the glasses defined and I went for ( Sillouetes- no frame) however, it seems now, I prefer them to make a statement! If you are looking for ease of shopping with a wide selection of inventory , buying on-line at Coastal is a great way to do it. They have a large selection of frames, materials and styles and the cost is reasonable. I did receive these as a gift* ( $250+ value) but would have paid more in the local eye wear stores for frames and prescription lenses.

I do wear progressive lenses, but I didn’t get these in progressive, as certain lenses are not available. They do offer progressive and at a reasonable additional price. I felt with sunglasses it wasn’t as necessary.

Mixing prints with my jeweled shoes.

Delicate jewelry this time around.  Love this saphire necklace.Next time I style this dress I will change the accessories.

Ive also added a floral print shoe to mix with the gingham print. I am looking for a floral bag as well. This is an easy way to mix patterns and print, by taking a patterned shoe and mixing it with a patterned or print dress. Wear a purse or bag in another print and accessories are a great way to mix prints!
