15 Aug Role Reversal

Hi Ladies

Happy Friday! Looking forward to the weekend? Well, as promised this is the last combo of red/black for the week, and I took a full red skirt, added a layered silk top, textured belt to accentuate the waist, and some new shoes to change it up. Do you have some fuller skirts in your closet?

So, I hope you have enjoyed my combinations of red and black outfits I have put together for the week. Obviously, there is more mixing and matching I can do, thus making my wardrobe go further.I do keep this in mind when I buy a new article of clothing. I am sure you all new my title meant the red was on the bottom and the black, a top 🙂

This skirt was one trend I just jumped right in on I have to say I saw it first on Lauren, from Style Elixer, and loved the fullness of it. Looking at pictures on Chicwish or Sheinside, where I found the skirt, I loved the look of high fashion with less cost. I have to say, I am excited about one other aspect of this outfit< my shoes! Can I get an ” Amen”! There is a 1.5 inch square heel on it and the bow on the front!  I am probably one of the few EDS patients or any patient that send her Physical Therapist a pic of shoes she wishes to purchase to make sure they won’t cause any unnecessary muscular imbalances, or should I say, further. I was given the go ahead, then bought them on Poshmark. Some good finds to be had. I do about 90% of my clothes shopping on-line as  A) I love getting packages in the  mail, as it is exciting, like getting a Christmas package.B) I get so tired walking around malls, and can not stand for long periods due to my illness. I do picture wearing this skirt in the fall, with a cropped jacket, perhaps some patterned tights with these bowed-adorned heels. I have ideas, and yes I am thinking of fall already.

P.s. Excuse the ballerina pose, I do feel like one in these skirts, and I used to be one, but hey, can’t blame a girl for tryin a new pose right? hehe
