Soft Surroundings Olive Knit Cardigan with Black Tweed Skirt

One of my favorite mixes with black is olive. This Soft Surroundings cable knit cardigan paired well with a black column for a Fall look.

Hi friends!

I hope you had a great weekend and are setting up your Holiday plans, even if it means its a bit different this year.

I will have some Holiday looks next week on the blog, but today and tomorrow wanted to share these warm tones and how they mix with black . Olive is a favorite Fall color of mine, and this cardigan could be even more dressed up with a sequined cami or perhaps an LBD. I took the idea of that, with this beautiful lace camisole, and a years old black tweed mini skirt

The cable knit  sweater from Soft Surroundings hits lower on the hip and certainly could work equally well with a button down and leggings or skinny jeans.

I loved the button closure  adding a slightly more fitted style and lovely detail. It is still roomy, and I am wearing my usual XS in Soft Surroundings. It comes in 2 other colors, a pretty grey heather, and a warm taupe shade. The similar sweater from last season is available, and I love how it drapes.

I have bought a few things during the sales, mainly some “Holy Grail of cream sweaters” I had been looking for for a long time. I also bought some lounge wear I will share on the blog after Christmas.

We had an eventful weekend, with my mom and I wrapping gifts, enjoying some wine by the fireplace, and decorating. Hubby is on a mission with the outside. Each year we add to the collection, and he found these minature lit trees, that are strung together. They line our yard and look like luminaria. Love it!

I’ll be sharing some photos once the decorating is complete 🙂 So stay tuned!

Look at Target having such great tights. Good on them. I hope to heavens we can finally go to church this weekend and I can have an excuse to dress up. My tights are probably moth-eaten!!

I found a Soft Surrounding store about an hour from my house, I need to go check it out! I love the details on that olive cardigan and how you styled it. Great piece that would work well casually too. Can’t wait to see your loungewear. I don’t own much because I usually just lounge in leggings but I’m game for something a bit nicer!

Oh yes, check it out! I really love the softness of their clothes. I’ll be posting some loungewear looks after Christmas. I went with Lou and Greys sweatpants that are very soft!
