29 Sep Turning Heads Linkup – Spring Mini Dress Styled for Fall

One combination I am fond of for Fall is the mini dress with OTK tall boots. This sillouette works for me and provides the look with a little bit of leg but a long look due to the Tall boots. It’s FUN!

My Outfit

Not quite tight weather here in NC, but light sweater weather, you can choose a long length cardigan ( you will see this one many times) for that added layer or additional punch of color.  I like this one as it has pockets as well. This chiffon mini dress was worn last Spring, but the colors still lend itself to Fall. Try looking at some of your Spring dresses to see what can be converted to Fall.

As the weather gets chillier, I can again play with proportions and length with a moto jacket over top of the dress, or a chunky sweater over top of the dress, making it look like a sweater/skirt combo.

The chiffon material makes it light and breezy, and easy to transition to another season.

The suede OTK boots are a fun change from booties and again, create  long look.

What’s Happening

Friends, I have been back to see the surgeon and I am getting my gallbladder surgery this Thursday, Oct 1st. I am a little nervous, but it is bright and early and I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. At least I may be the first one. So, I may be taking next week off from the blog to recouperate.  I was told to refrain from wine for a week before surgery, and have clear liquids the day after. Does Vodka count? LOL ( kidding, kidding!)

On another note, I got my hair done about a week ago at the house, where my stylist friend does mine, moms and my hubby’s hair in one day. I love that it is so rich and a bit darker and I have it cut as well. I have some great hair products I have been gifted that you will hear about on the blog. I am also thrilled with the Olaplex treatments I have been doing once a week. So, yay for good hair days!
