01 May How to Style Bow Sneakers with a Dress
Happy Monday Friends
I hope everyone had a great weekend. After an abundance of rain, and a wooded trail that resembled a small lake, we have finally be blessed with some warm sunny days over the weekend. Of course we took full advantage, and went to Morgan Ridge, a dog-friendly vineyard, on Saturday. I will be writing about this vineyard and wines Friday on the blog. Now, lets talk about fun statement sneakers! Does it seem like everything is a statement these days? Statement sleeves, statement jewelry, bags, sandals, sneakers.
When I first saw these on Zara, I really liked them! I have a shopping rule. If I look at something and return to gaze and stare at it on-line for more than 2 times, then I probably should buy it for my closet! It usually means I really, really like it. I did look at these certainly more than that and thought they would be great to wear with striped casual dresses, cargos, jeans and more. I loved the big bow and how unique they were. So, as I bought these months ago , I thought it was time I style them for the blog. You will be seeing me wearing these more on the blog.
I thought to wear them with one of my favorite Karina dresses, the Patti. Almost a tee style pencil dress in rust, orange, and navy tones I wanted to add that fun girly touch with these statement sneakers. Not only are they comfortable, but will go with practically anything.
If you are looking for a pair of slip on sneakers or bow sneakers, they are certainly on trend right now!
Here are some ways to wear sneakers with a dress:
1.converse and florals- make for a fun, casual pairing
2. Think casual dress with casual sneakers
3. Pairing a neutral or white pair with a fun shift or striped dress.
4. For a more feminine look go for embellishment or bows on your sneakers.
5.Consider the season you are in! For light summer-spring looks, go with canvas, eyelette, or a nude leather.
6. Make it a Fun way to Mix Patterns with your sneakers being an additional print. ( ie. gingham, floral..etc)
They no longer have this exact pair on Zara anymore, but I linked up some that are available!
Have fun!
I HOPE TO SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR TURNING HEADS TUESDAY LINKUP!

Posted at 19:03h, 09 MayI love those sneakers – I’ve been thinking about getting some too. They look fantastic with that gorgeous dress. I’d love to wear sneakers with a dress but I’m so self-conscious about my large feet! I think the combination of a nude shade and the ruffle might just work for me…just hoping they’re not sold out now!

Posted at 04:52h, 04 MayVery pretty dress, and I love the necklace you chose to go with it, and the fact that the earrings are similar, but not exactly the same – which could’ve been “too matchy matchy”.
