Hi friends!I'm back from the relatives house and we had a good time. Lots of good food, company, and things to do. We saw a parade, went to a great restaurant, watched Memorial Day fireworks and had a cookout. It's the 11 hour drive home that was a bit tough! I went to a wedding shower yesterday, had a lovely time, and was thankful we didn't play some of the cheesy games like "Who could make the prettiest toilet paper wedding gown? !"Anyhow, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and I can't believe it is June already. 
Hello ladiesI am loving this new sweater dress of mine, I found on none other than Poshmark , Banana Republic for $20. :-) I came across Marissa, of Marissa T Designs on Instagram, and we decided it would be great to do a collaboration together. The first pieces I saw were very ocean-sea oriented with light aqua-blue almost see through crystals in varied shapes in necklaces. I also loved the smaller daintier pieces from silver chains that caught my eye. I like both styles, the larger statement necklace and layered look with tinier pieces that shine. But before I continue, let me get this out of the way. I've been a musician in life, and I can't go on until I acknowledge my outfit's color... Happy Monday EveryoneHard to believe Christmas has come and gone. All the preparing for it, and the excitement leading up to it can linger a bit, then the day is here and quickly over. However, we keep our tree up for a while, and also celebrate the New Year. My title refers to Christmas Eve, when my husband gave me one gift to open. I know for many it is a tradition, and we do this on occasion. It was a Downton Abbey Christmas ornament of the car complete with Tom, the former chauffeur of the family.
