13 Feb THT- Clara Sunwoo-A Stylish Silhouette and Sale
You are not new to Clara Sunwoo, as I continue to share this NYC women owned business with you and their wonderful pieces.
How are you my friends?
We scheduled quite a few things to do this month, and so I am a happy camper! I love going out and listening to music, trying new things and now I am working at the Animal Shelter 1-2 days a week and I love it!
We had 10 new dogs come in from St Thomas, and I was there to great them at the shelter, we pretty much have a full house. I also wanted to participate at a local event, where we held adoptions and sold merchandise to raise money. Overall, dogs just bring me joy! Last night we went to dinner and saw Robert Cray, blues man extraordinaire. When in college, I played in a blues band and we would play some Robert Cray. I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Enjoy your Vday! We keep it lowkey and either go out beforehand, or usually have a nice meal with an excellent bottle of vino. I’m happy with that!
Clara Sunwoo- Wonderful Silhouette
I have a pair of Clara Sunwoo with a front slit, and when I saw these, I thought they would make a fabulous addition as well. The curved “Tulip Hem” and slit make these a modern choice for pants you can wear year-round depending on styling.
Here I chose a pair of “sitting boots” I call them. They are tall Donald Pliner boots I have had for over 10 years with a stilleto heel. The idea is to create a long leg line, continuing with a black pointed tall boot. I put these on to see if I could walk in them, and I felt like a toddler learning how to walk! I will have other options for you too, as I prefer a block heel these days.
The blue is rich and vibrant, and I love the waist tie detail, as I have a small waist, and its great to accent the waist with this top. The top is more fitted, and this is the silhouette I mentioned should be kept in mind when you have flowy bottoms or voluminous pants. I don’t like rules per say, so this is a styling suggestion. You could certainly wear a flowier top, but tuck it in, as if you were to leave it out, it would cut off the proportions and make your legs look shorter. Also, with these pants, I would wear a heel, even if it was a block heel or wedge to keep the leg length. Since I am tall, if I wore a flat, they would end up more above the ankle, so take your height into consideration.
Remember, or keep in mind, CSW clothes are always wrinkle-free, perfect for travel or every day. I wear my pieces often!

Posted at 18:34h, 17 FebruaryI had to chuckle at the “sitting boots!” I have a couple pairs of those as well as shoes. Oh, remember the days of wearing them even higher? I think you look stunning in this blue top! I fear, if I worked at an animal shelter, I would constantly be picking one out to bring home. Neither my husband nor my dog would be happy about that!
Thanks for the link up! I hope you’ll join me on Thursdays for Weekend Traffic Jam!
