Wearing Bright Color in the Winter

I suppose if you are a snow bunny, you are happy about Winter. I think I actually prefer a little snow here and there, as it adds some beauty to the otherwise bare, stark Winter. We do have sunshine. More than when I lived in Pittsburgh, but lately, there has been a lot of grey and rain! I blame my mother as she is down here, and I think she brought the Pittsburgh weather with her!

So, yes, going outside to catch a few rays would help, get that Vitamin D in , and in turn, may help our mood.

Another way to brighten the mood, is wearing color. Bright or saturated color is so nice to see in a sea of black, grey, or navy. (Not that there is anything wrong with that).

I have a classic camel coat, but I also have pink, red, and teal. And remember when i mentioned getting one of my favorite finally-worn-out cardigans as a repurchase on Poshmark? Well, oops I did it again! A couple of years ago I had to resign my Mango teal car coat due to all of the pilling. Guess what? I found it barely worn on Poshmark and here it is for a small price of $50! ( I did ask if it was bought at Mango, because I was thinking wouldn’t it have been funny if it was my actual coat that got cycled around?) Ha! Yes, it is like new, and I am a happy camper once more.

The dress is one of my Karina dresses in teal with a black geometic outline. I paired it with a Gibby scarf is complimentary colors. I chose to wear my taller over the knee black leather boots to keep the long leg line.
