21 Mar THT- Why You Need This Pair of White Jeans (If You are Long Waisted)
Ok. Need is a strong word. Should I say, “strongly desire”? I just bought these white jeans and I’ll tell you why you need them in your closet ( wink) if you are long waisted or prefer a higher rise.
Why You May Need This Pair of White Jeans
Are ladies always on the hunt for the elusive pair of white jeans that work with their body type?
I have been replacing some of my lower rise jeans from years ago, with high rise denim. Oh, how I love them!
I am long waisted, and the high rise works so well, as it hits a bit above my belly button, at the smallest part of my waist.
The jeans themselves are substantial, more of a denim material than a jegging or stretchy material.
Now, they are 30% off, of course not when I bought them. I am impatient at times, or I think my size will sell out.
They are 94% cotton, 5% recycled cotton, and 1% spandex for a little stretch. Madewell Perfect Vintage jeans have this same combination, and I do like the “real denim” feel at times. I went with my usual size 4, and got the 32 inseam, as 36 is too long for me. So, I would say, they fit to your true size.
High rise jeans are fabulous for many reasons, one being that they do not sit at your hips, so no “muffin top”.
I have long legs, but the high waisted will give your legs a longer look as well.
Deciding on a neutral look, purchased with tan zebra print cardigan from a friend on Poshmark; I thought it was high time I had something zebra! ( It is the EDS mascot!) This one is from Chicos, lasts season or so, but here are a few other zebra print sweaters.
Love this one too.
Styling my favorite cognac sandals from Mango would work nicely with this ensemble.
What’s Happening?
Well Happy Spring, readers! Yesterday was the official start of Spring and I am ready to hang out on our deck. It’s a little premature though, as it has been windy and a bit chilly. We went to a St Patrick’s Day festival filled with Irish fare, beer and wine and some great music, over the weekend. It was alot of fun.
This coming weekend, we go to a Vineyard for their “Pickup party”, as we are members, and they have a nice dinner, tell you about the wines in your selection, and then we take home the goodies. JOLO vineyards is really a primo place, and the wine has won awards amaong California’s best. So, that is a fun day.
I’ve been happy to make progress on my physical therapy, that has enabled me to sit for longer periods, but it takes dilagence, even if you don’t feel like doing it!
I hope you are enjoying the first few days of Spring thus far.
Have you found your white jeans that you love to wear? Tell me about it in the comments 🙂

Posted at 05:38h, 22 MarchUnfortunately I’m short waisted, this could explain why I have so many problems finding white jeans! You look enviably good in yours, you have long legs too! Love the Teddy Blake bag too xx

Posted at 13:57h, 21 MarchI am loving the neutral palette of this printed cardigan and I really like that you can wear it solo as a top. Of course, pairing something with white pants is one of my favorite looks for spring.

Posted at 12:34h, 21 MarchThis neutral look for early spring looks great on you, Jess! A nice fitting pair of white jeans is so versatile for spring and summer. I found a pair I love two summers ago, and am now on the hunt for a few alternative cuts, as I reach for them often! The wine party sound like a lot of fun, enjoy!

Posted at 03:28h, 21 MarchOh that’s my thing too, buying something and the next week it’s on sale. I don’t own any white trousers, not skirts or dresses actually. But I do like them. Yours looks fabulous especially with the camel!
