Time to Get Cozy- My Sweater Picks for the Season

Its all about staying warm now! I can’t say I am unhappy. Ever since symptoms of Menopause and what feels to be a higher body temperature, I don’t mind the cold air, but I love to stay cozy and warm as well as look stylish in these colder months, so let’s talk about sweaters.

I am fortunate that my work space is in the living room, on a sectional, where I sit by the fireplace and am covered by a thick fleece blanket. My atmosphere is cozy. I enjoy drinking my morning coffee, and my favorite now is Molten Chocolate we get at Fresh Market. My mom bought us this fleece blanket, and it is the most coveted in the house because it is warm, soft and cushiony. Really, what I look for in a sweater!

Living in the South, in NC, there are only a few months we might need heavier, chunky knits sweaters, so I have a few. Otherwise, I love soft knits h this time of year. What do I look for in sweaters?

I am not a big wool fan. It makes me itch. I do like blends and cashmere but I also look for special details in my sweater choices as well as texture.

Here are some of my sweater picks for this season, as well as thinking about gifts for the Holidays. Most of these are on sale or at a great price point already.

I am very tempted to buy this chunky knit by Chicwish. Love the texture!

Leopard is so hot this season and really showing to be a timeless print. Love this length and pockets!

This beautiful chunky knit cardigan in camel also caught my eye. I love the pom-pom texture.

Love this Autumnal shade and pattern. Great price too!

This sweater-A beautiful lilac shade- try pairing with neutrals for a different Fall look. Love the puffy sleeves that are trending now!

I love the knit design and puffy sleeves. I’d love a light grey sweater– this is on my wish list!

How pretty would this pale pink metallic swreater look with grey jeans or cream trousers?

Being the EDS mascot print, this zebra print sweater caught my eye with the olive green style. Santa do you hear that?

Who can resist a classic cashmere sweater? This cashmere cardigan is under $85 currently.

I Love this mock neck cashmere sweater. You can’t beat leopard!

Which is your favorite? What do you look for in a sweater?

Have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Jess xo

I am always freezing with menopause, Jess, so cozy sweaters are in constant rotation for me from October until May! I absolutely am dying over that very first one…the chunky green one. So stinking cute! Thanks for sharing your picks and linking up with me.

It’s freezing in Berlin at the moment and i’m always on the lookout for cozy and stylish jumpers. You’ve picked a good selection- I’m drawn to the leopard print one and the ones with statment sleeves ( :

Thank yoU! Bundle up in Berlin! It is chilly here but as it gets colder I love a chunky knit. I do love the leopard print or a chunky knit if you are looking for something warmer. x

I try and keep it that way and we will have a fire going on very cold days. I do love the olive sweater, ad so true, they look like someone hand knit them! xx

The pale pink metallic sweater is my favorite. I love the look of sweaters but only wear them occasionally when traveling during the winter months. and so I only invest in few.

      Hi Rosemary
I could see that as it does stay warm in Florida year round. I am tempted for that pale pink myself, as I would love it with greys or greens! xx

i love that first chunky knit cardigan from Chicwish – of course I have no need for it but I can still love it, right?! Ha!! You chose some great cozy knits. Next week it will get cooler here – in the 70’s – so I’ll be wearing sweaters finally! Have a great weekend friend!

      Morning!
That is my favorite too. They have it in burgundy and olive. I tend to buy some lighter sweaters for NC but I could wear any of these with Jan/Feb temps. Nice that it will be cooler in Florida! Thanks you too! xx

Yes! I love a big comfortable fleece blanket. My dad had one and I know have it and take it in the car on trips. But yes, temp fluctuations are no fun!
